The furnished room (see fotos) as well as its own private bath for tenant is in front of the apartment, in a beautiful old house, 5 tram stops from Alexanderplatz. All in good shape.
Keine "WG" im klassischen Sinne/ not a real "WG", as tenant will have own cooking facility and own bath (shower, see foto) The cooking facility can be closed like a cupboard.
Die Zimmerdecke hat sehr schönen Stuck. Der Fussboden besteht aus alten Berliner Dielen.

Another thing: There is a new feature for this here on wg gesucht (since about Jan. 2019), to urge people to upload a foto of themseves, to show how they look, and/ or how they can make a good picture of themselves. I wish not to support this, and I complained at the company already a few times, as I regard this as "social terror", that has NOTHING to do with looking for a room to live. So, messages of People that apply with a Foto won't even be READT. REASON: People that are looking for nothing but a ROOM TO LIVE should be able to do that WITHOUT Foto! Consequently people that apply WITH a FOTO I will have to DELETE right away, when I do not want to support such a thing (think of what is already happening with Data around the world). PLEASE THINK. Thanks.

Ich kommunziere aus Datenschutzgründen nicht hier, sondern per Mail, also teilt mir bitte eine Mailadresse mit. Bewerbungen mit Foto werden nicht gelesen und sofort gelöscht! DENN: Aussehen oder die Fähigkeit, ein Foto von sich zu inszenieren darf nichts mit Wohnungssuche zu tun haben. Und erzählt bitte nicht euer ganzes Leben hier, da die "Unterhaltungen" hier mitgelesen und verkauft werden (könnten) als lukrative Daten über eure Person. Es gibt was dazuzulernen, auch in Hinblick darauf, was weltweit mit unseren Daten gemacht wird. Also: Interesse bekunden und Emailadresse nicht vergessen.

Area: everything available, good and cheap restaurants. Laundry 3 tram stops with no walking needed.

Prenzlauer Berg ist bereits "gentrifiziert". Grössere dramatische Veränderungen sind nicht mehr zu erwarten.
Waschsalon/laundry: 2-3 Tramstops entfernt.
You are separate, have your own bathroom and cooking facility and share only the entrance space with the person that is responsible for the flat. A bicycle can be put in the backyard.
Es ist keine "klassische WG": Da man Kochgelegenheit und Bad für sich hat, teilt man mit dem Mitbewohner (Verantwortlicher ür die Vermietung) lediglich den Eingangsbereich (mit Garderobe u.a.). Dieser spielt Klavier (klassisch), das sollte man ertragen können. Ansonsten gilt gegenseitige Rücksichtnahme mit Musik und Parfum (übermässige Nutzung gar nicht angesagt). Die anderen Bewohner im Haus sind sehr nett und tolerant und sollten gegrüßt werden / The flatmate practices piano. If I knew what "Rücksichtnahme" means in english, I'd translate the rest, too.
Der Mindestzeitraum der Miete beträgt 2 Wochen, das Maximum in der Regel 3 Monate mit Option auf Verlängerung. Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel. Präzisiert wird alles in einem bei der Besichtigung gemeinsam besprochenen schriftlichen Vertrag.

Das Mobiliar ist teils noch so gut wie neu, teils antik.
Das Bad, das zu dem Zimmer gehört und separat liegt, ist fast neu.
