Location
I am leaving for the winter and so there is a free, very centrally located room in Berlin to let. My flatmate Fatih won't be there for the winter either and will also be subletting his room.
The flat has everything you need for a comfy and pleasant stay: Fast Wifi, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and a large fridge.
My room is also pretty comfy. It has a large couch which can be transformed into a guest bed (in case you get a visitor), a large bed (1.40mx2m) with a comfy mattress (it can be turned from a hard to a softer side), a large desktop and enough space to store your stuff. It is pretty clean. So there are no pictures on the walls because I couldn't find the time yet. Apart from occasional noise from the neighbours one level upstairs it is very quiet so that you don't hear any noises from the close main street.
The flat is situated absolutely perfectly just around the corner of David Bowies old appartment. From here you can reach Berlin Mitte or Potsdamer Platz by bike very fast. Even better, Kreuzberg and Neukölln are very close. Schöneberg has also pretty nice Kieze which are just around the corner. Bus and U-Bahn are truly two minutes away. S-Bahn is a 6 minutes walk away. All the means of public transport close to the flat bring you easily everywhere in Berlin. The flat is situated straight in the Crelle-Kiez which provides you with everything you need. There is a Späti next door. Restaurants, bars and imbisses are just around the corner/on the other side of the street. And of course you will find supermarkets and all that stuff just in an easy and nice walking distance/around the corner.
