Tausche Zimmer in Haus-WG gegen 1-Zimmer Wohnung Wedding/Moabit

Berlin-Marienfelde ist nicht Berlin-Mitte… aber großes Haus mit fettem Garten, Nüssbäumen und Hochbeeten und das gute alte Innenstadtleben lassen sich nunmal schlecht kombinieren. Die Lage ist trotzdem das perfekte Mittelmaß zwischen Nähe zur Hauptstadt, ihrem Nachtleben und dem Trubel als auch Nähe zur Natur, der Havel und der Diedersdorfer Heide. Mit der S2 ist man in regelmäßigem 10 Minuten Takt in unter 10 Minuten am Südkreuz und von da am Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburger Tor oder der Friedrichstraße. Dafür, dass es so weit außerhalb scheint, ist man dann doch echt schnell mitten in der Stadt. Neben all den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die man so kennt und braucht, befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe viele Parks, Badeseen und eine richtig tolle Boulderhalle.

Nevertheless, the location is the perfect balance between proximity to the capital, its nightlife and hustle and bustle and proximity to nature, the Havel and Diedersdorfer Heide. The S2 train takes you to Südkreuz in under 10 minutes and from there to Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburger Tor or Friedrichstraße. Despite the fact that it seems so far out of town, surprisingly enough you can be in the centre of the city really quickly. In addition to all the shops you know and need, there are many parks, swimming lakes and a really great bouldering hall in very short distance.

Wir wünschen uns ein familiäres WG-Verhältnis, in dem wir aufeinander achten, Wert legen auf bedürfnisorientierte, offene Kommunikation und ein respektvolles & wohlwollendes Miteinander. Uns ist inklusive Sprache wichtig und ein Zusammenleben, bei dem ein diskriminierungsfreier Raum für alle entsteht - insbesondere, da hier Menschen unterschiedlichster Lebenskonzepte, sexueller und geschlechtlicher Identität zusammen wohnen und zu Besuch kommen. Für uns alle soll dieses Haus einen sicheren Ort darstellen und auch bleiben.
Und jetzt über uns...Wir sind eine bunte Truppe aus Menschen, die alle bereits fertig oder in den letzten Zügen ihrer Ausbildungen sind und langsam in die erste (mehr oder weniger) ernstzunehmende Lohnarbeit starten. Wir haben alle mal mehr und mal weniger Kapazität für gemeinsame WG-Aktivitäten und auch das ist voll fein. Da man hier zu siebt wohnt, findet man eigentlich aber immer jemanden zum Schnacken und da wir hier echt viel Platz haben, bleibt immer auch Platz für Rückzug, wenn man ihn braucht.
Einmal im Monat treffen wir uns für ein gemeinsames WG Treffen um organisatorisches zu klären und uns über das Zusammenleben auszutauschen. Neben unserem Putzplan fallen weitere Aufgaben, zum Beispiel im Garten an, bei denen wir eine gewisse Eigeninitiative erwarten.

And now about us...We are a diverse group of people who are either slowly starting their first (more or less) seriously paid jobs or are in our final years of uni or vocational training. Depending on our time we all have sometimes more and sometimes less capacity for shared house activities. As there are seven of us living here, there's always someone to chat to and as we have a lot of space here, there's always enough space to retreat to if needed.
Once a month, we meet up for a WG-circle to discuss organisational matters and talk about what is working out for us and what is not. In addition to our cleaning schedule, there are other tasks, for example in the garden, where we expect our new roommate to show a certain amount of initiative.

Daniel - I am a motivated person that likes to question things. Usually you can find me with a big smile on my face (except for the first 30 minutes of the day). I like people, nature, dreaming, crafting things and being outdoors. As Emma's partner and Fabi's friend, I'm the connection that led to this constellation. When I picture a home I aim to create a feel-good place for me and the people around me based on open communication and a communal way of life. In the house, I like to craft with wood, cook with salvaged food, organize a sauna sunday or start a spontaneous plant action. I'm happy to have a late, chatty beer or a silent coffee way too early, but I also take time for myself when I feel like it. I'm currently working 20 hours a week as a working student in the foundation sector as a project assistant and after finishing my Master's degree soonish, I'll start working full- or part-time ("something in the direction of sustainability").

Emma - as the eldest of five siblings, I'm probably forever doomed to need a little hustle and bustle around me for my maximum wellbeing. I can get lost in hour-long conversations about the world, life and self over late-night hot drinks in the kitchen and love to spend whole weekends together doing everything and nothing in the garden. Some people have a ton of hobbies, I just love being around food...reading about permaculture, baking bread, fermenting vegetables, kombucha or kefir, saving food, growing vegetables and herbs (more or less successfully) or sharing a comforting meal together. Otherwise, I like to be in nature, go for a run (only so I can take a look at the trees in the nearest park), go bouldering, sewing or meditating. What else do I love? Contact-Impro, rainbows, Daniel's van, bumblebees, hugs, sun-coloured skies, oat milk cappuccinos with cinnamon, prosecco club-mate and women*empowerment.

Fabian - A lot has changed in my life since I started living in Berlin. I travel a lot, both to meet my friends and to get involved in politics when I'm not working part-time.
Even after a long day, I often feel the urge to do sports which I really enjoy together with other people. Whether it's climbing, bouldering, squash or whatever - I'm pretty flexible and up for a lot. At the weekend, I like to spend time with my favourite person's, whether it's on trips to the countryside, socialising or being out on the dance floor to shake off the stress of the week. Otherwise, I would describe myself as a nice, open-minded person who tries to make others feel good as often as possible. I also strive to meet people as openly and honestly as I can given my society and my socialisation background.

Jasper - I’m a programmer, but I currently work part time at Jurassic world the exhibition. I like doing art, yoga, playing video games and board games and watching movies. I also have a dog who sometimes stays here, Mymla, who is 14 and has dementia.

Cody - I am Italian. I have a small dog (Merlino, 6) who lives at the house full time and I'm taking a full time IT course online, that means that on most days I will be at home to open the door for you if you forget your keys ahah. I consider myself creative and will make you a sweater if you'd like one!

Léa - French, living in Berlin for 5 years. I love plants, bonfires, reading books. I play the volley-ball once a week and take classes in improvised theater, which makes me feel good. I had all kinds of jobs and traveled quite a lot, but at the moment I am seeking for more stability. Living in the house makes me feel very good - for me it is the ideal balance between having my space and having nice people around, doing crafts on rainy days, gardening on sunny ones. I enjoy being around people, having small projects, talks, breakfast together, watching movies, sharing stories. I also need quite some time on my own, writing letters to my friends, calling people, organizing my tiny room. Looking forward to meet you!
