Hello,
I am subletting my room in Siegmunds Hof student apartment from July 1 for four months to an easy going and responsible student (must be from one of the Berlin universities). Would prefer someone to take it for the whole period but a little shorter is also possible.
The room is furnished with bed and desk and enough storage space and you have your own bathroom with toilet and shower! The room even comes with not only one but two balconies :) The kitchen is pretty big and is shared with the other people from the floor. There is also a cleaning service for the kitchen so you only have to keep your room clean.
Behind the building there is a basketball and volleyball court.
S-Bahnhof Tiergarten is only 100m away so you can get everywhere very fast by public transport. Even going to the east only takes around 20-30 minutes.
TU Berlin is just a 10 min walk away. Tiergarten is also very close if you want to relax in the park or go for a walk. There are a few supermarkets in the area, all around 10 min away. Zoologischer Garten is just one stop away for shopping. Moabit is pretty close for some food and bars.
There are 10 other people living on the same floor and you'll meet them from time to time in the kitchen. Some are more social than others but all are pretty easy going. All of them are students of course. There is also a student bar in the building across the street which is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The room belongs to Studentenwerk so you need to be a student at one of the Berlin universities! Can you please specifically write in your message that you can provide proof of enrollment so I know that you read this. You also need to be on the waiting list of Studentenwerk but this shouldn't be a problem because you can just register online for free.
