Hi everybody!
My name is Monika and I am looking for a new tenant for my room in beautiful Weissensee. Because of the fact, that my studies are almost over, I decided to move out of Berlin, and that's why it's time to leave the room, hopefully in good hands. :)
The room itself, one out of two in the apartment, isn't very big, but it makes it even cosier. The most of space is taken by a huge comfortable bed, which I am willing to leave in the flat, as well as the rest of the furniture (2 drawers, book case, and a chair). The walls have been painted white about a year ago. The room has one window, wooden floor and pretty high ceiling.
The second room is occupied by my flatmate Maria and her dog Armani.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom for a common use.
The apartment is located in a really calm area. There are tram stops right in front of the building (12, M13), which makes it really fast and easy to get basically everywhere (25 min to Friedrichsstr., 30 min to Warschauer Str.). The flat is situated only 6 min by feet from Antonplatz, where there is also a perfect connection to Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt or any S-Bahn station (5 min from Greifswalder Str.).
There are a lot of awesome shopping possibilities, such as Aldi (3 min), Lidl (10 min), Edeka (8 min, opened even till 11 p.m.). There is also a Rossmann quite close to the Antonplatz, and many, many others. You can even find a dentist right around the corner ;)
Downstairs, in case of emergency, there is a Döner, as well as Späti.
The location is perfect for HU students and anybody, who works in Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain or in the strict centre.
Here comes a bit of information about my flatmate:
Maria is a very nice, open-hearted girl. She's 25. She works for a PR company, so the most of the day she's outside, because of her working hours. She's originally from Hannover, she's been living for a long time in Korea and Spain though, that's why she speaks both of the languages. I might add, she is really keen on korean cuisine.
There also is another guy in our WG ;) His name is Armani, and he's a greyhound. He's a very calm and chilled guy, who spends all the time with his owner (Maria has a chance to bring him to work with her everyday).
Who are we looking for? Preferably for a young, open-minded person, who loves animals and who doesn't mind to do something together from time to time. Of course you would need to respect the other person's well-being, and by that I mean cleaning after yourself, keeping it down after 10 p.m. and taking care of the common parts of the flat (there is a monthly schedule). If it sounds bearable, don't hesitate to text me!
Here some extra info:
- the rent is 350 euros, and it must be payed till the 3rd each month
- we share the electicity and internet costs: as I was paying for the internet, you would have to take it over (around 39 euros/month). Because Maria pays the rest, to equalize the costs, you would have to pay her 19 e/months for the electricity): so, it means, the total would be 350+40+19 = around 410 euros
- the deposit is 800 euros, payed once, when you move in
- THE ROOM IS FREE FROM NOVEMBER 1ST
- as I paid for a lot of stuff that I want to leave in a flat (washing machine, vacuum cleaner, as well as furniture in the room), I'd like to get 150 euros for it. It's negotiable though.
Oh, I forgot: of course it's possible to get an Anmeldung, as well as a permanent contract. The landlord demands the information about your income though.
