Hello everyone,
I'm Matthi(as), 29, and I've completed my medical studies in Leipzig last year. I've started a new chapter in Berlin and looking for a cozy place to live. Currently working in refugee health care bridging the gap and securing a stable income before applying for specialized positions in pediatric medicine.
Beyond my professional path, I am engaged in political and societal issues and have a profound passion for live music.
I make a conscious effort to stay well-informed, reflective, and enjoy meaningful exchanges with those in my circle. I'm eager to contribute actively again, most likely in the realm of health policy.
I find joy in attending live concerts, particularly within the jazz spectrum, and at a good party you'll find me on the dance floor. I also make music myself, playing the saxophone, though not very frequently—I hope that's acceptable.
Staying active is important to me, and depending on the season, you might find me cycling, running, playing football, swimming, or practicing yoga.
Having spent substantial time in Berlin over the past few years, I have a sizable social circle and a long-term relationship, so I know my ways around.
In terms of shared living, my vision is one of friendship and empathetic coexistence, where we are attuned to each other's lives and respectful of individual needs and space. On the whole, I consider myself sociable and kinda humorous. I take pleasure in experimenting with cooking and not eating alone. I bring along a curated collection of board games and records, and I'm surely up for collaborative activities. Of course, I also value moments of solitude. I am fond to create a cozy home environment (complete with plants!), maintain a certain aesthetic, and ensure a
level of cleanliness that’s pleasant for everyone. This also extends to organizing care work effectively and reflecting on my cis-male identity personally. In essence, I prioritize open communication and a constructive approach to resolving conflicts in communal living.
If this resonates with you, I look forward to hearing from you.
