I'm happy you're taking the time to read my post. I hope that my words resonate with you and that we can meet up to determine if we’re a compatible match to potentially share a home together!

My name is Mara Snip (she/her transwoman), 32 years old and originally from The Netherlands. I have a bachelor in music theatre and work as a theatre performer and actress. In my artistic practice I focus on my position within the patriarchal society and the relationship between the queer body and the audience. I made it my art to dive deep into the depths of the darkness and proudly believe in the power of vulnerability and femininity. I've been living in Berlin for 3 years now and feeling more and more at home in my body and life. My transition being a beautiful contribution to this experience. I'm almost out every morning for a walk or coffee and bury myself mostly in books and writing.

My Home means calmness, cleaniness and safety for me. I have a strong awareness how I inhabit and treat communal space and how I leave it. I’ve been living in my current place for 1,5 years on Karl-Marx-Straße and I am in need of a more calm place with less traffic. I am in need of people who also have experience through living together for a few years and that want to carry responsibility for the space. I am not in a rush and wish myself to take the time to find the right place and people.

I make my room into a little studio (always working with headphones but singing is inevitable ;)) - so if singing isn't something pleasant to you, this won't be such a great match.
