Die Wohnung befindet sich in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und ist damit recht zentral gelegen. Ich selbst habe zB kein Auto und kann alles gut zu Fuß oder per S-Bahn erreichen. Zum Bahnhof läuft man 10 Minuten. Auch die S-Bahn Station Beckhausstraße ist in ähnlicher Entfernung zu erreichen. Der Kesselbrink ist auch nur 10 Minuten entfernt. Die Straße hoch ist ein türkischer Supermarkt und ein Bäcker ist auch nicht viel weiter entfernt. Zum Combi läuft man max. 10 Minuten und zum Aldi 15 Minuten. Der nächste DM ist in der Stadt.

Ansonsten befindet sich der Ravensberger Park in der Nähe, was besonders im Sommer cool ist. Wenn man Lust auf etwas mehr Bewegung hat, dann ist man auch in einer halben Stunde an den Stauteichen. Das ist ganz schön, weil man so relativ schnell das Stadtgefühl hinter sich lassen kann und in der Natur ist, wenn man mal keine Lust hat in den Teuto hochzuklettern (Wald für Faule sozusagen).

Nach Parkmöglichkeiten muss man hier am Haus je nach Tageszeit auch mal etwas suchen. In der Straße selbst muss man Parkgebühr zahlen. Ordnungsamt is always watching you - ich habe schon ein paar Strafzettel kassiert, wenn ich mal ein Auto hier hatte. Aber du würdest das bestimmt besser hinkriegen :-) Es ist wohl auch möglich, sich einen Anwohnerparkausweis zu organisieren.

The apartment is near the train station and is therefore quite centrally located. I don't have a car myself, for example, so everything is in walking distance or can easily be reached by S-Bahn. It's a 10-minute walk to the train station. Beckhausstraße S-Bahn station is in similar distance. Kesselbrink is also only 10 minutes away. There's a Turkish supermarket up the street and a bakery isn't much further away either. It's a maximum of 10 minutes walk to Combi and 15 minutes to Aldi. The nearest DM is in town.

Also, Ravensberger Park is nearby, which is particularly nice in summer. And if you feel like getting a bit more exercise, you can also be at the Stauteiche in half an hour. This is really nice because you can leave the city feeling behind relatively quickly and be in nature if you don't feel like climbing up into the Teuto (forest for lazy people, so to speak).

Depending on the time of day, you may have to look for parking spots at the house or nearby. In this street, parking is chargeable. Ordnungsamt is always watching you - I've already received a few tickets when I was driving a car sometimes. But I'm sure you could do a way better job :-) It's also possible to get a resident parking permit.

Ich bin Kaja (sie/ihr), 31 Jahre alt und eher ein Drinnie. Ich verbringe gerne Zeit zu Hause und freue mich auf ein*e Mitbewohner*in, die*der Bock auf eine Mischung aus Alleinzeit und Zeit zu Zweit hat und mit der*dem ich mir die Verantwortung für die WG teilen kann. Mir ist einfach wichtig, dass der Vibe zwischen uns stimmt, wir gemeinsame Interessen haben und im Zweifel über alles sprechen können :-)

Sauberkeit ist mir ziemlich wichtig, auch wenn ich selbst manchmal dazu tendiere etwas chaotisch zu sein.

Ich höre super gerne und viel Musik (Indie Soul, Alternative RnB, queer Pop zb (auch mit Kopfhörern haha)) und Podcasts, mache ab und zu Yoga und gucke schon ziemlich viel und gerne Reality TV oder Filme auf mubi. Ich bin ein bisschen verträumt, höre gerne zu, interessiere mich für Menschen und Gesellschaft und für linke politische Themen, vor allem für feministische. Abends und am Wochenende treffe ich mich gerne mit Freund*innen auf ein Getränk oder für kulturellen Input :-) Außerdem koche ich recht viel und ernähre mich vegan. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn du dich auch vegetarisch oder vegan ernährst.

Ich habe Gender Studies und Erziehungswissenschaft studiert und fange demnächst damit an, meine Masterarbeit zu schreiben. Außerdem arbeite ich für eine queere Jugendgruppe.

So my name is Kaja (she/her), I am 31 years old and more of a dreamy indoor person haha (officially called Drinnie in german). I like spending time at home and I am looking for a roommate who is up for a mix of being alone as well and spending time together from time to time, with whom I can share responsibility for the shared apartment. It's important to me that we share the same vibe, have similar interests and that we can talk about everything if in doubt :-)

Cleanliness is pretty important to me, even if I myself tend to be a little bit chaotic sometimes. I also cook quite a lot and eat vegan. Would be really nice if you are on a vegetarian or vegan diet as well.

I really enjoy listening to a lot of music (indie soul, alternative RnB, queer pop for example (even with headphones haha)) and podcasts, do yoga from time to time and watch a lot of reality TV or films on mubi. I think I am a good listener, I am interested in people and society in general and in left-wing political issues, especially feminist ones. I also like to meet up with friends in the evening for a drink outside or for cultural activities.

I have studied gender studies and educational science and will soon start writing my master's thesis. I also work in a queer youth group.

Kurz zu den Nebenkosten und zum Kontext:

Ich habe die letzten 2 Jahre fast alleine hier gewohnt, da meine bisherige Mitbewohnerin sehr viel Zeit bei ihrem Freund verbracht hat. Daher wird es so sein, dass sich der monatliche Abschlag für die Stadtwerke (aktuell für die Wohnung insgesamt 164 für Gas und Strom) durch den erhöhten Verbrauch nach deinem Einzug bestimmt nochmal ändern wird. Das nur als Disclaimer.

Für die Telekom (W-Lan) haben wir bisher 45€ gezahlt. Zum 1.5. werde ich noch einen neuen Vertrag abschließen. Das bedeutet, dass sich da auch nochmal ein bisschen was ändern kann.

GEZ sind ca. 18€ für die Wohnung insgesamt.

Die Kaution werde ich in den nächsten Tagen noch angeben.

Eine eigene Waschmaschine steht im Keller. Die Wohnung insgesamt eigentlich gut ausgestattet, nur haben wir bisher leider keine Spülmaschine und nur einen kleinen Kühlschrank.

Quickly on the additional costs and the context:

I have lived here almost alone for the last 2 years, as my previous roommate spent a lot of time at her boyfriend’s place. Therefore, the monthly payment for the Stadtwerke (currently a total of 164€ for the apartment for gas and electricity) will definitely change again due to the increased consumption after you will have moved in. As a little disclaimer for you.

We have previously paid 45€ for Telekom (Wi-Fi). I will sign a new contract on May 1st. This means that a few things could change here as well, but not too much.

GEZ is around 18€ for the apartment in total.

I will also let you know the amount of deposit in the next few days.

There is a washing machine in the basement. The apartment is actually well equipped overall, but unfortunately we don't have a dishwasher and only a small refrigerator.
