Your room has 16m² and two big windows (1m²), so it is spacious and has plenty of natural light. The apartment has three other identical bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a shower, another without) and a central kitchen with good appliances and enough space to cook and feel at home in.
The "Studidorf" (Student village) is located very close to the Ruhr-Uni Bochum (15min on foot), and in about 3min you can walk to the Markstraße train station, which will have you reach any part of central Bochum in no time. The village itself is a friendly and active community of students, so there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people (if you want to, of course).
In the apartment you will live with three other people:
- Me (Fred, 23, BRA): I came to germany last year to complete my studies in physics at the RUB. I'm usually busy with Uni or work, but when i'm not I like to play the bass guitar and D&D, going out in trips and learning new things.
- Gerardo (21, MEX): Like Fred I also study physics at the RUB. I enjoy cooking and spending time with others, and i'm also really into learning languages and pretty much everything related to linguistics.
- Moritz (22, GER): I've been studying physiotherapy at the HSG since the winter semester of 2021, and in my free time I go to the gym and I like to cook.
We're all pretty chill and organised/clean people, and even though each of us have our own routines going on we're all friends and life in the apartment is very enjoyable.
