More information about me

Hi! I am 27 years old, I am starting a behavioral economics research position at the Max Planck Institute on 1st October. I want to be near the city center or near where I will work in Gronau. I like Südstadt, Poppelsdorf, Altstad, Kessenich and city center. My budget is 450-600 euro. I'm looking for a place where there's a good kitchen, heating and a bedroom with a double bed. Shared bathroom is fine.
I'm writing in English (it's my first language) because I'm from Cape Town but I will also be learning German when I move to Bonn. Hopefully fluent very soon! I have dual nationality of Portugal and South Africa.
I am someone who likes to travel, dance tango, to relax and read, go for drinks in the evening with friends, to cook, watch horror/comedy/documentary movies and listen to my favourite podcasts. I'm looking for an atmosphere where everyone has their personal space but also where we do things together as well. I like to cook, I like apartments that are kept clean and I'm personally very tidy and organized. I have lived in shared apartments before in Massachusetts USA and Buenos Aires and enjoyed the experience a lot. Communication is important.

I will arrive in Bonn in September and I will be available to meet in person about the apartment. I am also available on Skype any time before then. I have been living in Buenos Aires for the last six months and now I'm travelling around Europe in Portugal, Spain, Greece and Italy.
