Hello everybody :)
The room is around 18 qm and has a balcony facing the "Piepe", which is beautiful the whole year, but specially in spring and summer. It's not sure if the room will be furnished or unfurnished, so please let us know what you would like best (if left furnished, you would probably have to pay something to Saif, the current flatmate).
The apartment is around 122 m2. We have four rooms, two bathrooms and one space for the kitchen and the living room. Martí and Siddhant share the big bathroom, the washing machine it's also there. You and Alba would use the small bathroom. Apart from that, as you can see, we have a big living room and we usually hang around there: either eating, reading a book or whatever. We have a TV and Martí keeps his PS4 there. Also, Alba has access to the apartment's balcony, too :)
Our kitchen also has a dishwasher, which makes it way easier when you are 4 people living in a house! :)
The house is a new building and has an elevator. It's near the Rotes Kreuz Krankenhaus tram stop and we have everything we want within 3 minutes: one Penny, one Rossmann, a pharmacy and even a Kiosk. We also have another "room" for the trash outside our house, so we don't have the bins inside, which is a great plus.
Apart from the tram stop already mentioned, there's also Theather am Leibnizplatz only a few minutes away, so a connection to the tram 4 and the 6 is already secured. Of course it's also a good place for students at the Hochschule, as you only have to cross the park.
The city center (Domsheide) and Viertel are only 10 to 20 minutes away, so you can also get anywhere by foot!!
Now: about the WG life, my favourite part :D
You would be moving in to Saif's room, so the remaining people are: Alba (the one writing this hahahaa), Martí and Siddhant. A little bit about us:
Alba is from Spain and is studying Linguistics at the University of Bremen, as well as working for a company in the Überseestadt. She's the most extroverted (and the loudest :D) of all three flatmates. Usually she's either outside at a café or at home playing videogames.
Martí is also from Spain and he's here working at OHB (a space engineering company). He's the calmest of all, but is always down for a beer at a bar or for a nice activity during the week. He makes the best piña colada in town, btw!
Siddhant is from India and is working at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in robotics. He is an extroverted person who loves cooking and doing sport and is always up for a drink.
As a WG, we like to chill on the sofa together listening to music and just tease each other a little bit. We speak in English if all of us are together.
We have a cleaning plan via an app and we also take care of the finances there so everything is clear and split. On paper we only share oil and the spices, but on reality we do cook sometimes for one another and take ingredients that the other person has - just remember to ask or let the others know.
We are looking for somebody open for an international environment and that speaks English and is comfortable doing so. A non-negotionable is that the house has to remain clean. There's no greys on that: Either you are a clean and organised person or this is not going to work.
Another aspect worth mentioning is: Alba is a vegetarian, but neither Martí or Siddhant are. :)
Please take into consideration that if you are not working you are going to need an "Elternbürgschaft" - so a parental garantee that they are going to cover your costs if you cannot pay.
