Our place is a shared house in Bremen, accommodating a total of 8 residents, mostly Indian students pursuing various university programs. With two roommates planning to move out at the end of October, we are actively seeking two new individuals to join us starting in November.
About the House:
The house offers a comfortable layout with two floors, a basement, and a backyard, providing space for 8 residents. It includes three bathrooms, two with both a shower and a bathtub. The basement features a single room, the ground floor comprises a shared room for two people and a kitchen, while the first floor offers a single room with a balcony and a shared room for two. The second floor provides one single room and another shared room for two. Please note that the house is unfurnished, although some furniture has been left behind by previous occupants. Laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer, are available in the basement. The attached photos depict the house bbefore our occupancy, so the current appearance may vary. If you're interested, you're welcome to visit in person or arrange a video call for a virtual tour.
The house is located in a quiet residential area. Most popular stores like Rewe, Penny, Aldi, Rossmann, Action, and Edeka, as well as several Turkish and Asian supermarkets, are within easy walking distance. Additionally, the Waterfront shopping mall, featuring numerous stores, is just a quick 2-stop tram ride away. The nearest tram stop, Gröpelingen, is conveniently located just a 12-minute walk from the house. From Gröpelingen, frequent trams are available to Hauptbahnhof and Domsheide. You can reach Bremen Hauptbahnhof in 19 minutes from Gröpelingen, and the University of Bremen is a 40-minute journey away, requiring one transfer.
About Rent:
Rent for the rooms varies from €170 to €220 (cold rent), depending on size and sharing arrangements. Utilities, including electricity and internet, are shared among roommates and typically amount to €85-€100 per person. We expect a minimum stay of 6 months, and city registration (anmeldung) documents will be provided upon renting.
