Die Wohnung ist Teil des Studierendenwohnheims Lux und bildet eine 2er-WG mit Küche, Bad und den zwei Zimmern. Meine Mitbewohnerin Anne und ich sind beide Erstmieterin, es ist also alles noch sehr schön neu und sauber hier.
Das Zimmer ist ausgestattet mit einem Bett mit Bettkästen, einem Schrank und einem großen Schreibtisch mit Stuhl und Regal darüber. Das Zimmer verfügt auch über eine Terrasse, die nach hinten raus ins Grüne geht und auf der man schön in der Sonne sitzen kann. Vom Straßenlärm hört man nichts und es ist generell sehr ruhig hier.
Das Zimmer hat 12,4qm, die Fläche kann man sehr gut nutzen und ich hatte nie das Gefühl, zu wenig Platz zu haben. Unten im Keller hat jede Wohnung ein eigenes Abteil, wo man Sachen lagern kann, die man nicht in der Wohnung haben möchte. Insgesamt bemisst sich die Wohnfläche pro Person auf ca. 21qm.
Das Wohnheim verfügt noch über einen eigenen Parkplatz, für den man 5€ im Monat zahlt, wenn man ihn benutzen möchte. Außerdem gibt es sehr viele Fahrradständer und auch einen Fahrradkeller. Ebenfalls gibt es einen Waschraum, pro Waschgang zahlt man 2€.
The apartment is part of the student dormitory Lux and forms a 2-person shared apartment with kitchen, bathroom and the two rooms. My roommate Anne and I are both first-time tenants, so everything is still very nice, new and clean here.
The room is furnished with a bed with bed drawers, a closet, and a large desk with a chair and shelf above it. The room also has a terrace, which goes out to the back into the greenery and where you can sit nicely in the sun. You can't hear anything from the street noise and it is generally very quiet here.
The room has 12.4sqm, the area can be used very well and I never had the feeling of having too little space. Downstairs in the basement, each apartment has its own compartment where you can store things that you do not want to have in the apartment. In total, the living space per person is about 21 square meters.
The dormitory also has its own parking lot, for which you pay 5€ per month if you want to use it. There are also many bicycle racks and a bicycle cellar. There is also a laundry room, you pay 2€ per wash.
Das Studierendenwohnheim liegt direkt an der Straßenbahnhaltestelle Jahnstraße, von der aus man bis zum Schloss ca. 6mins fährt. Für mich reicht es immer, wenn ich die Bahn 15mins vor Beginn der Lehrveranstaltung nehme. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es hier neben einem Rewe to go und einem Rewe ca. 5mins mit dem Fahrrad entfernt leider nicht, aber ich gehe meistens im Luisencenter einkaufen und das klappt immer sehr gut. Ansonsten gibt es hier sehr nah noch einen Wald, in dem man sehr gut Joggen oder Spazierengehen kann. Außerdem ist das Hochschulstadion mit seinen Sporthallen nur wenige Minuten entfernt, falls man also gerne Hochschulsport machen möchte, bietet sich das hier sehr gut an.
The student dormitory is located directly at the tram stop Jahnstraße, from where you can get to the station schloss in about 6mins. For me, it is always enough if I take the train 15mins before the start of the lecture. Unfortunately, there are no shopping facilities here besides a Rewe to go and a Rewe about 5mins away by bike, but I usually go shopping at the Luisencenter and that always works out very well. Otherwise, there is a forest very close here, where you can jog or walk very well. In addition, the university stadium with its sports halls is only a few minutes away, so if you like to do university sports, this is a very good option.
Du würdest zusammen mit Anne leben, die 20 Jahre alt ist und Psychologie studiert. Das WG-Leben mit ihr ist sehr unkompliziert und ruhig. Unsere kleine Wohnung ist immer ziemlich sauber, wir würden uns also über eine verantwortungsbewusste Zwischenmieterin freuen! :) Wir haben uns noch ein paar Sachen gekauft, um uns das Leben in der WG etwas zu vereinfachen (Tiefkühltruhe, Ofen, Waschbeckenunterschrank, Küchenregal, Küchengeräte), die du gerne mitbenutzen kannst.
You would live together with Anne, who is 20 years old and studies psychology. Shared living with her is very uncomplicated and quiet. Our small apartment is always pretty clean, so we would be happy to have a responsible intermediate tenant! :) We have bought a few more things to make life in the WG a little easier (freezer, oven, sink base cabinet, kitchen shelf, kitchen appliances), which you are welcome to share.
Da ich ein Erasmus Semester mache, ziehe ich für das Wintersemester 2023/ 24 aus. Verfügbar ist die Wohnung also ab dem 1.8. bzw. 1.9. und bis zum 31.3. Mein ganzes Zeug würde ich selbstverständlich alles mitnehmen, sodass du das Zimmer so einrichten kannst, wie du möchtest! :)

Since I'm doing an Erasmus semester, I move out for the winter semester 2023 / 24. So the apartment is available from 1.8. or 1.9. until 31.3. All my stuff I would of course take with me, so you can furnish the room as you want! :)
