I'm renting a furnished room from a flat shared with a guy and two girls, all students and german.
The room is pretty much big considering the offers in Darmstadt.
It's a 20 square meters room, furnished with:
- bed (90x200cm)
- shelf
- writing desk with an office chair
- couch
- spacious built-in closet
The heater works very well and it can be controlled by yourself.
Windows are big and overlook to an extended open space with trees and no close buildings.
The room will be provided with just the furnitures, so I will move all my personal stuff within your arrive.
Location is optimal for a student because it's near the Lichtwiese TU Campus.
It's also not far from the city center and well connected with it by public transports.
The room is inside a building completely surrounded by a no-car area, so it's very quiet and also the flat is the only one of the floor and it's on the top floor (no bad noises from upper flats).
The flat has a central communal area with the kitchen, a big table and a big couch.
Big space is dedicated to storage, there are two refrigerators and everything is provided when you need to cook.
From this space there are two rooms on the left and two on the right, both preceded by a little access room.
There are two bathrooms with window and an additional utility room accessible by the bathroom itself.
Erasmus and exchange students are very welcome and there are no particular conditions to get the room like being be enrolled as a student for the time you rent the room.
All the costs are included in the rent, the one and only additional cost is for the electricity: 18€/month to be paid directly to the designated flatmate, by cash or bank transfer.
