Sunny room in a spacious WG close to the University

Direkt neben der Wohnung gibt es eine S-Bahn-Station (Öspel) und eine Bushaltestelle, beide sind nur 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Hier fährt die S-Bahn auf der Linie S1, mit der du in 5 Minuten zur Universität (1 Station entfernt) und in 10 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof gelangst. An der Station gibt es auch einen Metropolradruhr-Ständer, mit dem du in 15 Minuten zur Universität gelangst. Ein Edeka ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt, so dass du sehr leicht Lebensmittel einkaufen kannnst. Außerdem kann man kostenlos und ohne Parkscheibe auf der Straße parken. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem kleinen Gebäude – mit nur zwei andere Wohnungen. Nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt befindet sich der Dorneywald - ein großer Wald mit vielen Wanderwegen und schönen Aussichten.

Here you can take the S-Bahn on the S1 line, which will take you to the university (1 stop away) in 5 minutes and to the main train station in 10 minutes. Also, you can park on the street for free and without a Parkscheibe. The apartment is located in a small building - with only two other apartments. At only a 10-minute walk away is Dorneywald - a large forest with many hiking trails and beautiful views.

Du wohnst mit zwei internationalen Studierenden zusammen: Bryce (23, männlich, aus den USA) und Gulzar (24, männlich, aus Indien). Sie sind beide Masterstudenten an der TU Dortmund und studieren Automation and Robotics. Sie planen, für ein Jahr hier zu leben. Wenn sie nicht studieren oder arbeiten, lieben sie es, vegetarische und vegane Rezepte zusammen zu kochen, Brot zu backen und Kombucha zu brauen. Die Küche ist groß und hell und du hast einen schönen Blick auf eine Kirche. Außerdem gibt es viele Küchengeräte deswegen müsstest du keine Küchengegenstände kaufen. Es gibt ein Bad. Es gibt auch ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer, wo wir abends oder am Wochenende zusammen chillen, plaudern und Darts oder Brettspiele spielen können. Natürlich wünscht sich jeder manchmal Privatsphäre und Ruhe, was immer verstanden wird.
In der WG wird hauptsächlich Englisch gesprochen, also wäre es toll, wenn du Englisch sprechen könntest. Bryce und Gulzar lernen aber auch Deutsch, deshalb ist ein*e nur deutschsprachige*r Mitbewohner*in auch in Ordnung. Bryce hat eine Langzeitfreundin, die gerne aus Bayern zu Besuch kommt.

You will live with two international students: Bryce (23, male, from the USA) and Gulzar (24, male, from India). They are both master's students at TU Dortmund University studying Automation and Robotics. They plan to live here for another year. When they are not studying or working, they love to cook vegetarian and vegan recipes, bake bread and brew kombucha together. The kitchen is big and bright and you have a nice view of a church. Also, there are many kitchen utensils so you wouldn't have to buy any kitchen items. There is one bathroom. There is also a spacious living room with a sleeping couch where you can hang out together, chat and play darts or board games in the evenings or weekends. Of course, sometimes privacy and peace are preferred which is always understood.

English is the main language spoken in the shared flat, so it would be great if you could speak English. Bryce and Gulzar are also learning German, so a German only roommate is also fine. Bryce has a long-term girlfriend who likes to visit from Bavaria.

Der Vertrag ist ohne Laufzeit. Wenn du also irgendwann ausziehen möchtest, müsstest du 3 Monate Kündigungsfrist einhalten oder jemanden finden, der Sie ersetzt. Es gibt auch keine Kaution. Du kannst ab 1. Mai einziehen oder später wenn du möchtest

The contract has no minimum length. So whenever if you want to move out, you would have to give 3 months notice or find someone to replace you. There is also no deposit. You can move in from the 1st of May or later if you like.
