The room is on the smaller side, but has enough space for the essentials. Our current flatmate Marlene lived here for 7 years and uses it as an office when she works from home. The window faces the street and although you can hear a bit of traffic, it has never really bothered us. There is a lot of light coming into the flat in the morning. A big plus is that the whole flat stays quite cool in the summer because of the cellar underneath.
We think the flat has a fantastic location, with Bohlenplatz and the city center just a short walk away, making it perfect for a night out. The technical faculty is easily accessible by bike in just 15 minutes. Plus, there's an Aldi just 50 meters from our door, which is super convenient for grocery shopping! Bus stations are nearby, and the train station can be reached on foot in just 15 minutes.
We, Miguel and Jan, are looking for a new flatmate for our shared flat in the Zollhaus quarter. Both of us are working at the mechanics chair of the technical faculty. During the week we are both quite busy with work and recreational activities. Jan is an enthusiastic mountain biker and also organizes a kids group for the local alpine club (DAV). If he finds the time he also enjoys spending his time climbing. Miguel likes doing sport and enjoys outdoor activities. He likes hanging out with people and cooking. Although we are often busy with work and other activities, we love to catch up in the kitchen and meet new people.
We really appreciate peaceful nights and are looking for someone who shares that value. We don't mind a bit of mess here and there, but we do want to keep our flat clean. That's why we have a cleaning schedule, so everyone only has to do a small part to keep our shared spaces tidy.
We also have a room in the cellar to store some things.
