Please note! Only the smaller room is only available anymore. It's available for 2 months
2 rooms are available, one around 14m² and one around 20m². One faces north and one faces south. The rent will be accordingly different, for the smaller room around 345€ and for the larger 450€ per month. The rooms will be largely unfurnished, perhaps we can arrange some furniture if you need. The apartment is on the top floor without an elevator, so you must be fit. The rest of the apartment is very spacious with plenty of shared spaces - the hallway, kitchen and living room. There is one bathroom, which is big enough and has both a shower and a bathtub.
The flat is very close to the train station, but on the north side at the rear of the station, so far from the chaos at the front. We are also directly on the Mainzer Landstraße. The closest supermarkets are Rewe in the Skyline Plaza (7mins walk) or Penny (10mins). The traffic can be kind of loud but you get used to it.
We are Paddy (31), Furqan (33) and Verena (25).
About Paddy - I'm from England but speak good German. I've lived in Germany since 2015 and love living in this country. I work as a waiter, but in my private life my hobbies are very important to me - I love to cycle, tinker with bicycles, and fiddle around with all kinds of tools.
About Furqan- I am from Pakistan and living in Germany since 2018. I have studied here in Germany and currently working in business administration field in an ecommerce company. I like doing sports , both indoor and outdoor such as table Tennis, Football and Hiking. I like playing board games aswell like Chess, Sequence, Uno and any other which is proposed to me. I like to have meaningful conversation and I believe every person is interesting and unique. I am very helping by nature and very easy to talk kind of guy.
For us, the three pillars of communal living are friendliness, cleanliness and respect. That means we would like you to see this place as your home and treat it accordingly. We are hoping for a friendly relationship with you, but we have great respect for your privacy and personal space. Because the apartment has so many shared spaces, we feel it is important to get along well in order to enjoy the space fully. For this reason, it's important to us that you are comfortable speaking English.
If you feel like this is for you, let's talk! Please write us to tell us about yourself and your ideas of communal living. We look forward to reading your replies.
The rent is all-inclusive (heating, electricity, water, internet, GEZ). There is space to store stuff in the basement. There is a shed to store your bike near the entrance.
