There are two rooms available for rent:
smaller room (facing a street, but not really busy): 4.27m x 2.83m = 12.1m², for a total of 400€
big room (facing the super quiet inner area of the houses around): 4.72m x 3.97m = 18.7m², for a sum of 620€
Please be sure to specify for which one (or both) and with how many people you are applying for!
Everything inside the rooms will be gone when you move in. The small room was used (up until now as visible on the pics) as an office room. The bigger was a sleeping room so far. Of course, if you are a small family or friends, you can also move in with more than two people. Just text me your situation and we're going to find a good solution, maybe also keeping some of the furniture seen there.
The area is perfect! It's quiet, but still nearby everything you could ever need in a few minutes!
The tram and bus stations of "Niederräder Landstraße" are not even 30 seconds by walk which get you to Frankfurt main station in under 15min. The nearest supermarkets and drugstores are 2min by walk (small but good REWE city and a ROSSMANN drug store). 7min by bicycle are going to get you to two large supermarkets (ALDI, EDEKA).
Even better, there are two parks nearby. One of them just opened recently and features a great playground for kids and a large, good workout area. If you want to go for a run, you need just 5min and then you are in the forest with no cars around! :-)
The shared apartment live is not established yet, because 2 people are missing now. ;-)
Except for the fact that I live vegan and I'm a student, I give no further information until you contacted me, so that you can describe unbiased your desired shared apartment life or your character traits without adopting to my expectations. Do you prefer to live as a functional community or do you want to do activities with your shared apartment etc.?
The only other thing I have to mention is that the ceilings are quite thin here. So, if you are not able to walk around without making noise, please don't contact me. Also, watching TV or listening to music aloud will annoy others around, so please use headphones whenever possible. My neighbors are going to appreciate it! ;-D
If you play an instrument, it's totally fine if you respect resting hours and Sundays if you don't play more than the usual amount of time (i.e. violin max. 45min/day should be OK).
I will sub-rent you the rooms at least until March 31 2023. In case I move out past this date, there should be no issue to take over the contract from the owner. Currently, my plan is to stay here at least for 1.5 years, so until March 31 2024.
Internationals (and students) welcome!! I speak English most of the day anyway, so there will be no communication problem (on my side at least haha). If you are not German speaking, I can make an English contract for sub-renting as well and I can help you out with the German bureaucracy from time to time of course. ;-)
You can text me until I take this placement offline. I'll try to get back to everyone who wrote me!
I've already estimated the energy costs way higher than now, with 60ct per kWh for electricity and 25ct per kWH for gas. Therefore, you don't have to be afraid of the price going to be higher.
If you are interested, please be sure to state if you can meet me in person before moving in, i.e. to take a look at the flat and to get to know each other. Also, please state when you can move in the earliest and when you have to move in the latest. Thank you!
The additional costs already include gas (for cooking and warm water, therefore not that much), electrical bill, internet (good), etc. And in December we gonna get fiber to the home for the best speed and lowest latency (hopefully, fingers crossed).
The deposit includes only the deposit I had to give to the owner divided by three. I trust you not to damage the kitchen or any other interior on purpose. If you want to take over my contract later in case I move out, you would have to buy the kitchen from me. I built it myself and it cost (including a very good washing machine and all appliances) about 1800€. It's really big and well equipped. Also, the walls here are basically made out of sand so it is not advisable to try to build up a new kitchen here. In the same way, I'm also afraid it's gonna be very very hard if you want to put anything on the walls. :/
If you have a bicycle, you can place it outside in the inner area where only house members have access to. I don't even lock my bike there, and it was not stolen in 3.5 years (in contrast to the outside street, with locks...).
P.S.: I'm in a loving relationship, so don't be afraid of (or don't hope for! xD) second thoughts on my side, haha. ;-)
