The room is located on the second floor of a old building at the Botanical Garden in the beautiful district of Herdern. Overall, the apartment includes 3 rooms, the biggest one is mine. I want to rent it for 2 months in the summer, because I will be away myself. However, as far as the period of interim rent is concerned, I am very flexible. The room has 24 square meters and is very spacious due to the high ceiling. Of course I leave my furniture, which you can also use. There is a large wardrobe, a bed (1, 4x2m also suitable for 2 persons), a work desk, and a small sofa. Since the furniture is made of wood and the window is very large, the room has a warm atmosphere.
Our street offers a lot of parking facilities, and there is also a backyard where you can put your bike. The tram stop is only a 3-minute walk away, but you can also take the bike to the city centre or at the Lake Park in 10 minutes. As far as shopping is concerned you really have a great choice, Lidl, Aldi, Edeka and Penny are located 300-500m away. If you like being in nature, you will enjoy it very much, as the Black Forest is not a quarter of an hour away, you can stroll through the botanical garden or explore the fields in the north of the city.
While you are going to live with us in apartment there is quite a lot of movement as we get a new roommate. Jacob, who is now finished with his medical studies will take off as he starts his specialist training. For that comes Linnea, she studies environmental sciences with Simon, the other roommate. The two are a very pleasant society. In general, we are very happy about social coexistence, we often cook and eat together, play games or go out together. Both of them are very active and spend a lot of time outside with biking, hiking etc. Simon is a top chef and Jakob likes to sing and accompanies himself on the guitar. If you need any hints about the city don`t hestitate to ask them as they have already lived here for some years and know all the good places.
