As I will move out next month, there is a room in 5-er WG house available from 1st August. You can also rent from 1.Agust to the end of December.
It is located on the second floor of a familiy house, on the same floor as the shared bathroom with shower.
The room is fully furnished and bright with two windows. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, and dishes and is located on the ground floor. The washing machine and dryer in the basement. You are also welcomed to use the garden and the terrace.
The house has a total of three floors, of which the top two floors are rented.
The house is centrally located in the Herdern district on a quiet street. From here you can get anywhere quickly by bike (approx. 10 minutes to the city center or to the university). If you prefer to travel by bus and tram, you can reach the bus line 27 in 3 minutes on foot or take the tram line 4 from Okenstraße (approx. 7 minutes walking distance).
Shops such as Kaufland, Aldi and Lidl are about 5 minutes away by bike or 10 walking minutes. There is also a bakery just around the corner.
Now there are 5 persons living in this house, who are 3 Chinese guys (including me) and the other 2 Moroccan girls. They are doing PhD or professional training here.
There is also a cleaning person hired by the landlords coming every two weeks to clean all the public space. And all the flatmates just need to share the easy duties such as empty dish washer, empty trash can in the kitchen, and move the trash barrels to the street once a week. The cost of some shared stuff like baking paper, aluminum, dish water cubes, cleanser, and hand soap will be shared by all the flatmates.
One of our landloards is now doing home office here on the first floor, but not living here.
It is very important that you can speak English, so that you can communicate with other flatmates. Surely you can invite your friends, but big loud parties are not allowed.
Once you have interest, please write me a message, introducing yourself a bit, such as where are you from, what are you doing in Freiburg and so on. Then, I will decide some candidates to visit the house and meet with our landlord.
