The room is 12m² in size and there is a big kitchen 8 hot plates and big sofas and a table which is shared by 12 students including you. The bathroom and the fridge will be shared with your neighboring roommate and there is common storage area as well which will be shared between you and your roommate. The room is fully furnished which includes a bed (accommodates 2 persons), large study table with assorted study lamp, 2 drawers, a TV. There is a small balcony attached to the room as well one can chill and relax. A caution deposit of 400€ will be charged for the above mentioned furniture's.
The dormitory is located at sweet spot where the beautiful and serene lake at Seepark is just a few steps away and also access to the huge meadow which is even closer. There is club and bar in bulding 36 which is called TIK(which most of you must be knowing :P) where a lot of events happen which includes beer pong every Tuesdays. The tram stop is a 3 minutes walk from the dormitory and the supermarkets that are nearby the apartment are Penny and Edeka which is approximately a 5-8 minutes walking distance from the apartment. The city center is a 15 minutes bike ride from the apartment.
As I had said earlier, we are a bunch of 12 students of which 3 of them are pretty rare to be seen (As I myself havent seen them for 9 months since I have moved in). I am super close with 3 of my flatmates as I got to know them since the day I moved in. The other 6 flatmates just moved in a few months ago and are also equally friendly and I am slowly getting long with them as well. All one needs is time :) Nevertheless, all the flatmates are very helpful and supportive :D.
The dormitory comes under the SWFR organisation and hence this room can only be given to students enrolled at the University of Freiburg and one shouldnt have stayed for more than 3 or 3.5 years previously at any of the SWFR dormitories. This is a sublet offered for a period of 6 months and not extendable. I am looking for a person who maintains tidiness and is very well organized and last but not the least socializing and open minded. Please explain a bit about yourself in short, your hobbies and so on and leave your email id or phone number so that I can fix a date and time for you to show the room.
