Es ist ein großes Zimmer im ersten Obergeschoss, aufteilbar in zwei Zimmer. Die Durchgangstür ist zur Zeit entfernt, kann aber wieder eingesetzt werden. Das Zimmer kann wahlweise mit elektrischen Nachtspeicheröfen oder mit Holz beheizt werden, ein Ofen ist vorhanden. Auf der Etage ist auch ein Bad mit Wanne und ein Klo sowie ein weiterer Aufenthaltsraum.
The House is at the outskirts of Buchheim, direction Neuershausen. Westwards there is a large garden belonging to the house and then there are fields. There is also a front yard with place for example for parking and repairing cars or bikes. The house was modernized in 2000, so there is modern isolation, an overhauled stairs an much more newer things. There is also a barn.
The house is _not_ in the center of the city, you may need between 25 and 45 minutes commuting time to any place in Freiburg. Using public transport to Basel or Strasbourg it is only twice that time. Here you do not live in the center of the city, but in the center of an greater and more important area. I enjoy that and that is the reason why I do not move away.
Sharing a house means sharing part of life - so there will be activities together. Feel free to choose from the Maslow pyramid which ones make sense for you.
I myself have hens in the garden and there is a big tile stove in the first floor (Erdgeschoss). If you want to help me you may assist taking care of the animals and supplying the oven when I am away for more than three days you might help me. This does not happen very often, it is not much work and I can show you in 15 minutes how to manage all. In exchange there will be fresh eggs and more.
Some of my spare time I spend being an American Redneck - repairing cars, fixing everything with duck tape and so on :-))

3. You want to live in the center of an greater area - see "Lage" and do not need everything in walking distance. You can reach a bus station, a bakery and a supermarket within 10 Minutes walking.
4. My photo here is from spring, but I am older than I look. Be prepared to live with somebody who could be your grandfather :-)

My current housemate and her predecessor are woman and I like and liked to share the house with them. One of them had her boyfriend with her.
