I am going abroad to do my internship and am therefore subletting my 13m2 light and furnished room in this lovely 3er WG close to Dietenbach Lake.
I will leave the furniture but remove my other personal belongings.
It is 5 min walk from tramline 5, 10 min walk fom tramline 3.
The flat is 5 min walk from groceries and 15 min walk to lovely Dietenbach Lake and close to the Dreisam too.
You will be sharing the flat with my two German flat mates Susanne and Sarah:
- Sarah (24), a fun-loving bundle of energy who is working as a food chemist. When she is not in the lab, she likes singing, dancing, sport and regularly picking up food shares.
- Susanne (28), a slightly chaotic outdoor enthusiast who has a dark but warm sense of humor and likes to laugh at herself and the world. As a sustainability scientist, she works partly from home and partly in Karlsruhe where she mostly stays Tuesdays to Thursdays.
We are a playful and casual shared apartment, open to mostly unplanned activities (picnics, bouldering, swimming, going for a walk, attending concerts...). Susanne and Sarah both work during the week and are at home in the evenings or pursue their diverse hobbies (dancing, climbing, cycling, hiking, meeting friends...).
At the weekend we like to use the time to go out into nature or stick to the breakfast table and brunch together.
They are both sociable and communicative, but also enjoy being able to withdraw to their rooms after a long day.
The heart of our shared apartment is the kitchen and dining area, where we like to cook together and conjure up something delicious from the depths of our fridge (every now and then this escalates into spontaneous dance parties). On warm summer evenings we like to chat on the balcony, which also houses green things and is happy about new growth.
We appreciate a clean flat, keeping it nice and tidy during the week and taking turns to clean it on the weekends with a cleaning schedule. Respect, tolerance and mutual consideration as well as open and honest communication is important for us.
