Kleines, schnuckeliges Wohnheimzimmer gen Osten mit Blick ins Grüne. Je nach Bedarf kann ein Bett, ein Regal, ein Schreibtisch sowie ein Stuhl direkt von der Wohnheimleitung kostenlos geliehen werden. Im Zimmer befindet sich des Weiteren ein Waschbecken. Toiletten, Duschen, Küche und Balkons sind geteilt.

Small, cozy dormitory room facing east with a view of the greenery. Depending on your needs, a bed, a shelf, a desk, and a chair can be borrowed free of charge from the dormitory management. Additionally, there is a sink in the room. Toilets, showers, kitchen, and balconies are shared.
Das Wohnheim liegt sehr ruhig in der Oberwiehre direkt an der Dreisam, in unmittelbarer Nähe der Musikhochschule. Bei der Tram-Haltestelle und dem Nahversorgungszentrum Oberwiehre ist man zu Fuß in ca. 5 Minuten.
Momentan wird das Dach saniert, weshalb ein Gerüst am Haus steht und es in den nächsten Wochen noch zu Lärmbelästigungen kommen kann. Danach sollte es aber vorbei sein. :)

The dormitory is located very quietly in the Oberwiehre directly next to the Dreisam River, in close proximity to the Musikhochschule (music conservatory). You can reach the tram stop and the Oberwiehre local supply center with supermarkets etc. on foot in about 5 minutes.
Currently, the roof is being renovated, which is why there is scaffolding around the house and there may be noise disturbances in the next few weeks. However, it should be hopfully finished after that. :)
Wir sind eine sehr internationale WG mit Mitbewohner:innen aus u.a. Italien, Iran, Kroatien, Türkei, Spanien usw. Etwa die Hälfte von uns studiert an der Musikhochschule nebenan, die meisten anderen an der Uni. Das WG-Leben lässt sich im Alltag wohl gut als "alles kann und nichts muss" zusammenfassen -- wobei wir uns tendenziell immer freuen, wenn Mensch offen ist und Lust hat, abends noch bisschen zum Plaudern in der Küche dazuzustoßen.
GEZ-Gebühren werden geteilt. Um Seife, Spülmittel, Toilettenpapier, Küchenrolle und ähnliches zu finanzieren, gibt jede Person pro Semester ca. 30 Euro in die WG-Kasse.

We are a very international shared flat with roommates from, among others, Italy, Iran, Croatia, Turkey, Spain, and so on. About half of us study at the Musikhochschule (music conservatory) next door, while most others study at the university. Daily life in the shared flat can be summarized as 'everything is possible, nothing is mandatory' -- although we tend to always be happy when someone is open and interested in joining us for a chat in the kitchen in the evenings.
We split the GEZ (German public broadcasting fee). To finance soap, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, and similar items, each person contributes approximately 30 euros to the shared flat fund per semester.

Um einziehen zu können, musst du als Studierende*r eingeschrieben sein. Bis September wärst du offiziell Untermieter:in, wobei ich Hauptmieterin bleibe. Wenn du nach September noch länger im Wohnheim oder im Zimmer wohnen möchtest, gibt es auch die Möglichkeit, das Zimmer langfristig zu übernehmen.
Für den Untermietvertrag erhebt die AWO einen Unkosten-Betrag von 50 Euro.

The room is rented out by the AWO (Arbeiterwohlfahrt). You can find more information about the student dormitory here: https://www.awo-baden.de/angebote/jugendliche-und-junge-erwachsene/studentenwohnheim . To move in, you must be enrolled as a student. Until September, you would officially be a subtenant, with me remaining the main tenant. If you would like to continue living in the dormitory or the room after September, there is also the option to take over the room.
For the sublease agreement, the AWO charges an administrative fee of 50 euros.
We are looking for a responsible person who ideally understands cleaning schedules and enjoys living in a larger community. Please feel free to write a few lines about yourself! I look forward to hearing from you!
