Looking for a house sitter until the end of Freiburgs summer semester as I have to spend the time in Berlin for job reasons.
German follows English!
1,5 rooms 35/45 sqm, small kitchen, giant luxury bath room.
In the bed- /livingroom (27 sqm) you will find one sofabed (160x200cm), sideboards and a clothes rail to store your stuff. There's a 46"-LCD TV and a BOSE surround sound system.
The dinging room (15 sqm) conveniently hosts up to 8 people at the big table and is to be shared with the other room mate.
There is one roommate living permanently in the apartment. He's the nicest guy and since your dinging room is between your bedroom and his, your privacy is guaranteed. The dining room is a walk-through room.
The kitchen is tiny but well equipped with CERAN® glass-ceramic cooktop panel, freezer, 2 refrigerators, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Senseo (r) Machine. Plates, glasses, cutlery, and all the other stuff are provided as well. Fresh towels and sheets and linen are provided.
The bathroom is quite luxurious with a bathtub, TWO washbasins (one exclusively for you), washing machine, laundry drier, and stereo.
The apartment is equipped with 50Mbit vDSL WiFi, Airconditioning in the bed- / livingroom, central heating.
The "Wiehre" quarter is the most demanded and beautiful living area in Freiburg. Our flat is right at the side of the edge of Freiburg's inner city Wiehre. It doesn't get much more central. Anyway it's just 1 kilometer to the beautiful Sternwald. And the Schlossberg where the Black Forest begins with it's fantastic beer garden and a stunning view all over the city is just 400 Meters away - as is the inner city pedestrain and shopping zone.
The Bertold Fountain (city center) is just a five minute walk away, the beautiful Dreisam river invites you for a walk or just chilling in front of our door. The next tram / streetcar station is in a 50 m distance, tram No 1 brings you from an to the central station in 12 minutes without changing trams. The bar at the corner is "Weber's Weinstube", a cosy place with excellent regional food, open until 3 a.m. at night. "Aldi" and "Rewe" (open Mon-Sat, till 12 pm) convenience stores are within a 5 min ride with a bike.

Im Schlaf- / Wohnzimmer (27qm) ist ein Bettsofa, (Liegefläche im ausgezogenen Zustand 160x200 cm, mit passender Auflagematratze), außerdem ein rollbarer Kleiderschrank und eine Kleiderstange für Euer Gepäck. Für Unterhaltung sorgen der 46“ LCD-TV und die BOSE surround-Anlage
Im Arbeits- / Esszimmer (15 qm) finden 8 Leute bequem am großen Esstisch Platz. Dies ist ein Durchgangszimmer.
Die Küche ist winzig, aber voll ausgestattet: Cerankochfeld, Kühlschrank, Tiefkühlschrank, Ofen, Mikrowelle, Spülmaschine, und Senseo-Kaffeemaschine erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Besteck, Geschirr, Gläser, Tassen usw. stehen zur Verfügung. Außerdem natürlich frisches Bettzeug und Handtücher.
Das luxuriöse Bad bietet Dusche (mit Stefan Raabs “Doosh”-Kopf), zwei Waschbecken (eines davon nur für Euch), Waschmaschine, Wäschetrockner, LCD-TV und Stereoanlage, Fön, Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett.
Die Wohnung verfügt über WiFi mit 50Mbit vDSL, Klimaanlage im Schlaf- / Wohnzimmer und Gasetagenheizung.

The Wiehre is one of the most popular areas in Freiburg with beautifully renovated buildings all around 100 years old. Mostly academic families live here. It's just 500 meters to the inner city and the Schlossberg. Cafés, Restaurants and supermarkets are all in close walking distance. The Dreisam river is right in front of the house.
The tram line 1 stop "Schwabentorbrücke" is right 50 meters from the apartment. Tram No. 1 goes directely to the train station and the city center.

Die Wiehre ist Freiburgs beliebtestes und schönstes Wohnviertel. Die Wohnung liegt exakt an der Grenze zwischen Wiehre und Innenstadt. Viel zentraler geht es nicht. Trotzdem ist der wunderschöne Sternwald grade mal einen Kilometer entfernt, hier kann man seine Spaziergänge oder Wanderungen in den Schwarzwald beginnen. Der Schloßberg mit dem tollen „Kastaniengarten“ Biergarten und seiner sensationellen Aussicht über die Stadt ist sogar nur 400 Meter entfernt – und da beginnt auch die innenstädtische Fußgängerzone.
Der Bertoldsbrunnen, der das absolute Stadtzentrum markiert, ist ca. fünf Minuten entfernt, direkt vor der Haustüre lädt die wunderschöne, kristallklare Dreisam zum spazieren (und im Sommer zum planschen) ein. Die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist 50 Meter vom Haus entfernt. Linie 1 verkehrt innerhalb von 12 Minuten ohne Umsteigen vom und zum Hauptbahnhof. Die Eckkneipe ist „Webers Weinstube“, wo man in gemütlicher Atmosphäre exzellente regionale Leckereien bekommt – bis drei Uhr Nachts. Aldi und Rewe (offen bis 24 Uhr) sind in 5 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen.

Every other week the cleaning lady changes sheets and makes sure the place is immaculate.
The nicest roommate shares the apartment with you, though he isn't around that often as he is working full time. Since the dining room / office is a walk through room located between your bedroom and his there is privacy guaranteed.

Ich selbst bin nicht vor Ort, aber ein Freund kümmert sich um alle Eure Probleme und Wünsche.
Alle zwei Wochen kommt die Putzfrau, bringt die Hütte auf Hochglanz und wechselt die Betwäsche.
Ein supernetter Mitbewohner lebt dauerhaft in der Wohnung, arbeitet aber Vollzeit. Da Euer Arbeits- / Esszimmer zwischen seinem und dem Schlaf- / Wohnzimmer liegt, ist Eure Privatsphäre aber garantiert.
