Da ich Gießen verlassen werde, suche ich eine*n Nachmieter*in für mein schönes, zentrales Zimmer in einer Zweier WG. Die Wohnung besteht aus einem Flur mit Garderobe, den 2 Zimmern, wobei in dem anderen meine liebe Mitbewohnerin Lara wohnt, einer Küche, die locker für 12 Leute reicht und einem winzigen Bad, was das Putzen erleichtert. Im Sommer kann man sich auch schön auf die Wiese legen oder auf die Stühle im Garten setzen, den wir mitbenutzen können.
Ds Zimmer selbst ist circa 13 m2 groß und bietet genug Platz für Bett, Schrank, Schreibtisch, Regale usw. Meine Möbel werde ich mitnehmen. Besonders schön ist das große, hohe Fenster, durch das man in den Himmel und in die Bäume blicken kann.
Die Miete für das Zimmer mit Nebenkosten im Monat beträgt 292 Euro, für Strom kämen dann (je nach Anbieter & Gebrauch) nochmal 55 Euro dazu.
(Insgesamt zahlen wir zwei Bewohnerinnen zusammen 660 Euro im Monat für die Wohnung.)
Unser Vermieter ist auch einverstanden.

Since I will be leaving Gießen, I am looking for a new tenant for my beautiful, central room in a two-person shared flat. The flat consists of a hallway with a wardrobe, two rooms, the other of which is occupied by my lovely flatmate Lara, a kitchen that can easily accommodate 12 people and a tiny bathroom, which makes cleaning easier. In the summer, you can also lie on the grass or sit on the chairs in the garden, which we can also use.
The room itself is about 13 m2 and has enough space for a bed, wardrobe, desk, shelves, etc. I will take my furniture with me. The large, high window is particularly nice, through which you can look at the sky and the trees.
The rent for the room, including utilities, is 292 euros per month, plus 55 euros (depending on the supplier and usage) for electricity .
(In total, both of us together pay 660 Euro per month for the whole flat.)
Our Landlord also agrees.
Sehr praktisch ist die zentrale Lage, durch die man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß am Unihauptgebäude (5 min), der Mensa MFH (5 min) oder dem Bahnhof und der Lahn (10 Min) ist. Mit dem Fahrrad ist es natürlich schneller. Apropos... die Fahrräder können unten im Hof abgestellt werden. Die WG liegt gegenüber vom Copyshop, somit kann man sich schnell etwas ausdrucken und es gibt immer was zu sehen. Das Haus steht an der Ecke zur wunderbaren Liebigstraße (man munkelt eine der schönsten Straßen in Gießen).

The central location is very practical, as it is only a few minutes' walk to the main university building (5 min), the Mensa MFH (5 min) or the train station and the Lahn (10 min). Of course, it's faster by bike. Speaking of which... the bikes can be parked downstairs in the courtyard. The WG is opposite the copy shop, so you can quickly print out something and there is always something to see. The house is on the corner of the wonderful Liebigstraße (said to be one of the most beautiful streets in Giessen).
Lara ist eine sehr freundliche und aufgeschlossene Mitbewohnerin, die gerne gemeinsam kocht und kreative Projekte in Angriff nimmt. Sie studiert Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft und tauscht sich gerne über Theaterabende, Filme und Kunstausstellungen aus. Da sie für ein Praktikum bis Dezember nicht in Gießen sein wird, würdest du bis Dezember mit einer Zwischenmieterin zusammenwohnen, die wir noch gemeinsam suchen.
Nebenan (also wirklich next door) gibt es eine wunderbare WG, bestehend aus Sibel, Felix und Falko, mit denen wir manchmal unseren Alltag und unsere Erlebnisse teilen. Somit sind wir eigentlich nicht 2, sondern eher 5. Dies ist immer ein kann und niemals ein muss.
Die WG ist ein LGBTQA+ freundlicher Ort und soll das auch bleiben, es ist kein Platz für Diskrimierungen jeglicher Art.

Lara is a very friendly and outgoing flatmate who enjoys cooking together and tackling creative projects. She studies Applied Theatre Studies and likes to exchange ideas about theatre evenings, films and art exhibitions. As she will not be in Gießen for an internship until December, you would live with an interim tenant until December, who we are still looking for together.
Next door (really next door) there is a wonderful flat share consisting of Sibel, Felix and Falko, with whom we sometimes share our everyday life and our experiences. So we are actually not 2, but rather 5. This is always a possibility and never an obligation.
The WG is an LGBTQA+ friendly place and should remain so, there is no place for discrimination of any kind.
