Room
Hello dears,
just in time for the Winter semester, my room in a perfect location in Göttingen will become available (01.10.2023). The room is 15 square meters in size, is really sunlit and conveniently cut, so you can easily fit all your belongings. There is a very nice parquet floor.
The kitchen is a real dream. It offers a fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, a large fridge and freezer and a large dining table.
The bathroom is practical and of course, looks luxurious because of the dark tiles. Through the large window, you can ventilate perfectly.
There is a bicycle cellar in which there is also space for a washing machine (I am taking mine away).
Location
The location could hardly be better. To barbecue on the river you need only 3 minutes walk. You can also sit on a hided bench on a sunny day to read a book. Also, the Kiessee is not more than 10 minutes away by bike. It is a well-served area, with supermarkets Nakauf and Bäckerei at 5 minutes (also open on Sunday), Rewe (10 minutes), and Edeka (10 minutes). There is also a Dancing Academia in front, a Cinema (3 minutes) and plenty of Fastfood shops if you are in the rush sometimes that are open most of the time at the Bahnhof also on Sundays (3 minutes). The police station is at 3 minutes away and it is a very safe area.
The bus stop Otto-Frey-Brücke can be reached within 2 minutes. There you can take lines 31,32, which will bring you to the university. The train station is also just a stone's throw away. Bus 21 and 23, sometimes 22 also pass from there if you need to go to the N-Campus (15/20 minutes). The city centre and Z-Campus (library) can be reached by bike in less than 10 minutes. What more could you want than a short ride home after a long day?
WG life
You would live with Chiara, one of the sweetest and nicest people I have ever met.
Here is her presentation:
Hello also from your future roommate! My name is Chiara, I am 24 years old, and I am doing my Master's in Ecology. I will finish next year around the end of April (hopefully) and then move out so you would have to take over the apartment then. My family is very important to me and because I live not too far away from it, I am going home almost every weekend and you would have the apartment for yourself. Because the shared rooms (kitchen/bathroom/hallway) are not too big they get dirty relatively easily so it would be nice if those rooms are cleaned on a weekly or two weeks base, but we can discuss it, so it fits for both of us.
Other than that, I like cooking (especially Japanese food) and doing sports (mainly running and yoga). I also like playing billiards and air hockey with my colleagues from university, so if you like one of those activities as well then maybe we could do it together sometimes 😊. I am looking for someone that is open-minded (no homophobes or racists) and reliable. Foreign students are also very welcome!
All in all and additions: the apartment is great and I loved living here very much. I have a bed (cranky, a library, and a dresser that I can leave for you, but in case I can trash them). I will also leave a small table for the kitchen and some chairs. These are all free. I would ask for only 25 euro for the window cover (measured), and the chandelier.
In the Nebenkosten is included everything (Internet, cleaning of the stairs, gas, storm exc). The radio costs are not included in the Nebenkosten.
You can text us on WA for an appointment. Just give us a brief intro about yourself and we will contact you back.
The Landlord requires proof of solvency (you can pay). If you are a student you might need your parents to provide it (plus UNI enrollment) but if you are a working student or just a worker, you can provide SCHUFA (request now) +contract (and/or bank statements).
