Mich zieht es hinaus in die Welt und so vermiete ich mein kleines, aber feines WG-Zimmer in meiner lieben WG in Weende. Frei von Dachschrägen liegt das helle Zimmer in der 1. Etage unserer zweigeschossigen Wohnung. Das Zimmer ist quadratisch und hat zwei Fenster durch die am Nachmittag die Sonne scheint. Es ist mit Bett, Bücherregal, Kommode, Schrank und Sekretär ausgestattet. Auch Fernseher, Anlage und Playstation können genutzt werden. Auf derselben Etage, die du dir mit Juan teilst, liegen noch das Duschbad sowie die Eingangstür. Oben, wo Carmen, Judith und Gabsi wohnen, sind die Küche, ein weiteres Bad und natürlich nicht zu vergessen: Unsere Dachterrasse!

I am off travelling the next semester, so I am subletting my room. Excellent flatmates come wiht it. The room lies on the first floor of the two storey flat. It has a square layout and two windows through which the sun shines in the afternoon. The room is equipped with a bed, a bookcase, a cupboard, a dresser and a secretary. The TV, Hi-Fi and Playstation may also be used. On the same floor are Juan´s room, the bathroom and the door. On the top floor are Carmen´s, Judith´s and Gabsi´s rooms, the kitchen, a second bathroom and the best part of the flat: the rooftop terrace.
Die Wohnung liegt im Altdorf von Weende, wo es eher ruhig zu geht, ohne dass man weit vom Zentrum entfernt wohnt. Zum Zentralcampus/in die Innenstadt sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad, zum Nord-Campus nur 5 Minuten (ebenso Bus). Mehrere Einkaufmöglichkeiten finden sich direkt um die Ecke.
Das Weender Freibad liegt drei Straßen weiter und zum Wandern/Joggen liegen Wald und Burg Plesse auch nicht weit.

The flat is situated in the old part of Weende. Here it is rather quiet, but you are not far from the city centre. It only takes 10 minutes to get to the central campus/city centre by bike and only 5 minutes to the northern campus. Right around the corner are a few shops and an outdoor pool. It´s only a few minutes walk to the woods.
Terrassieren (d.h. Zeit auf der Dachterrasse verbringen) ist unser liebstes Hobby. Auf der Dachterasse, als unserem Ersatzwohnzimmer, grillen, diskutieren und spaßen wir bei Bier oder Saft über Politik, das Leben und was sonst noch (un)wichtig ist. Auch unser "WG-Garten" ist dort mittlerweile angelegt. In kälteren Monaten wird das Ganze dann - natürlich ohne Grillen - in die gemütliche Küche verlagert. Wir kochen gerne, gehen auch mal gemeinsam in eine Kneipe oder feiern.
Wir studieren ziemlich unterschiedliche Fächer (Medizin, Politik, Geschichte, Soziologie, Jura), sind sportlich unterwegs, in verschiedenen Gruppen aktiv und sonst sehr offene und entspannte Menschen ;)

Spending time on the terrace is our favourite hobby. It has become our living room, where we enjoy a beer, barbeque or a discussion on politics or life. A small garden lives in the various pots. In winter we spend time together in the kitchen. Sometimes we visit a pub together or go party.
Most of us study different subjects (Medicine, politics, history, sociology, law), do sports, are active in various groups and open-minded people.
