You will live in my furnished room. Actually, it is kind of 2 rooms - one tiny one (2 m² or so) you pass through to get into the main room which has around 20 m². The room has three windows, two large ones facing west for sunset and a small one facing north. The windows are fairly new so you won't hear much noise from the streets also the room is located behind the house (facing away from the street). The room comes with a 140 cm bed plus mattress, a couch, a desk and drawer and closets and so on. I will leave all the furniture empty for you to enjoy your own space. There is an option that I might stay away until end of October but this will become clear over the early summer.
We live in the Leineviertel, just west of the city enter. You can easily walk to the train station or city center in 10 minutes. The river Leine and the Kiessee (a large lake) are close by for walks or runs or a drink at sunset. A little supermarket is literally our neighbor and conveniently it is open even on Sundays (which is rare in Germany! ;)).
You will be four people in total. With you live: Knut (German), who currently works as a research group leader, Danilo (Brazilian) who works in Einbeck as a seed genetics specialist and Nati aka Natalia (Argentinian) who does her PhD in Botanics. All are beautiful souls and enjoy living together. Sometimes we cook together, play games, sometimes we have friends over, twice or three times a year we host a smaller or bigger flat party. The idea is: whenever you are up for it, you are welcome to join, as soon as you need time and space for yourself, you will have it. We share a veggie box from a community supported agriculture and some common food, there is no cleaning schedule (yet) but we are very clean. We have a garden behind the house and a large balcony facing north.
We have a bike cage outside the house and a laundry in the basement.
