Das Zimmer ist 17m2 groß, relativ hell und besteht aus einem riesigen Schrank, Schreibtisch, Einzelbett (mit Ausschiebebett dabei), und einer kleinen Couch (+Spiegel). Man hat einen schönen Ausblick direkt auf die Herz Jesu Kirche. Die Miete inklusive allem (Strom, Wasser, WLAN) beträgt 278€.
The room has 17m2, there's plenty of light coming in, and it consists of a huge cupboard (wardrobe), a desk, a shelf, a bed and a small couch (+ a mirror). The view is amazing as you can see the Herz Jesu church. The monthly rent is 278€ (all inclusive, so electricity, water, wifi).
Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer netten, relativ ruhigen Umgebung, in der Nähe vom Schillerplatz.
Es sind 10-15 Gehminuten zum Jakominiplatz, 15-20 Gehminuten zur Hauptuni, 5 Gehminuten zur Romanistik und 5 Gehminuten zur Neuen Technik, Petersgasse (ebenso 5 Minuten zur Alten TU, Rechbauerstraße). Außerdem befinden sich ein Spar und ein Billa ganz in der Nähe, sowie auch eine Trafik, eine Bäckerei (Auer), eine Apotheke und Arztpraxen.
Leider gibt es in dem Gebäude keinen Lift, aber immerhin hält man sich dadurch ein bisschen fit und Möbel sind auch keine hinaufzuschleppen, da das Zimmer sowieso schon möbliert ist.
Für Fahrräder ist direkt vor dem Gebäude Platz bzw. kann das Fahrrad auch im Keller abgestellt werden
The flat is situated in a pretty calm and nice environment, near the Schillerplatz. It takes you 10-15 minutes by foot to get to Jakominiplatz, 15-20 minutes by foot to get to the University (7-10 minutes by bike), 5 minutes to the faculty of romance studies, as well as to the New and Old University of Technology (which are in Petersgasse and Rechbauerstraße). Furthermore, there are supermarkets, a farmacy, a tobacco shop and some doctors' offices close to our flat.
Unfortunately, there's no elevator in our building, meaning you can train your fitness a little bit (haha) but as you do not have to bring any furniture with you, it's not so exhausting.
Regarding bikes, there is plenty of room in front of the building. You can also park your bike in the cellar.
Normalerweise sind wir in der WG vier Mädchen, aber ich und eine weitere Mitbewohnerin sind nächstes Semester auf Erasmus, daher werden zwei Zimmer frei. Die beiden Mädchen mit denen du zusammenwohnen würdest sind wirklich sehr lustig, hilfsbereit und offen. Eine studiert Medizin, die andere Lehramt. Wir sitzen ab und zu in der Küche zusammen und reden, gehen ab und zu zusammen zu Veranstaltungen (wie z.B. Poetry Slam) und kochen manchmal auch zusammen.
Wie gesagt, da außer mir noch eine Mitbewohnerin für ein Semester auszieht, wird auch ihr Zimmer für das Sommersemester 2019 frei.
Normally we are four girls living in this flat, but me and another one of my flat mates are going on Erasmus next semester and so there are ging to be two rooms which are free. The two girls with whom you would share the flat are very funny, kind, helpful and open-hearted persons. One of them studies medicine, the other one is in the teacher training programme. Occasionally we sit together in the kitchen just to talk a little or we go to events together (for example poetry slam) and we also cook together sometimes.
As I said, as there is another flat mate moving out for one semester, there are going to be two free rooms for the summer semester 2019.
