Dear flat share seekers,
Since I’m moving to friends, my room in the heart of St. Leonhard is becoming open. It is only available between May and the 31st of July due to the lease ending. (Therefore, all roommates will have to move out)
The room has 20 sqm, is rectangular and has a large window. I particularly appreciate the herringbone floor and the view of the baroque building next door. It is also a cool oasis in summer. For the Gamer among us: the room has a LAN cable!
I took most of my furniture, which can be seen in the photo, with me. Only the bed and the box are still in the room. If required, I can also organize free furniture from Willhaben for you, e.g. desk and desk chair.
Information about our apartment:
The apartment is huge for three people! We have a large anteroom and a living room. It's great to have so much space. Bathroom and toilet are separate, and both have windows!
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. My highlight is the contact grill. Every dry slice of bread becomes a pleasure in no time at all. There is a large fridge and dishwasher. Cellar, bicycle cellar, balcony and garden for shared use are available. The balcony is accessible to through the living room. From there you have a great view of the Herz-Jesu-Kirche. I find our trailer particularly practical. You can use it for big purchases.
The location is great! Right in front of the door we have a bakery, Greek restaurant, tobacconist, kebab shop and various bars. In our house is a Turkish shop. Insider tip: Here you can find the best feta cheese in all of Graz. Just around the corner is Café Tribeka, where I liked to study when my wallet allowed.
You can see the old Technical University from your room window. Karl-Franz University and Jakominiplatz are a 13-minute walk away. The city park is right on the doorstep. In case you don’t want to walk, the closest train station is just five minutes away :)
Your future roommates are Felix and Ahmad.
Ahmad is a very busy man. He is currently in the last class of night school to become an electrical engineer. In addition to school, he works at Spar. He enjoys cooking chicken using his mother's secret recipe and loves KFC. However, he firmly believes that KFC tastes better in the Emirates.
You will often see Felix, he is from Graz. He works part-time at Valooda and is writing his bachelor thesis. He is very creative and interested in many things: literature, snooker, music and food. He likes to cook, and he is good at it. I was able to benefit from this more than once.
