The flat is fully refurbished and equipped with everything you require for your daily life.
The room has a 200x140m bed, lots of storage room and of course a TV and a desk. Towels and linen etc. are all available with the room if you require them.
The flat (ca. 50m2) consists of two rooms, one is yours and one the au-pair´s room. In addition there is a large kitchen with table etc., which may also serve as common room. You can reach the terrace from the kitchen.
All rooms and the flat are fully equipped.
The bus stop 22 (Frickestrasse) is only 1 min walking away. The Metro Kellinghusenstrasse and Lattenkamp are each ca. 15min on foot. There is everything you require within 10 min walking distance (Edeka, Aldi, Penny, Baker, Borchers Restaurant etc).
The flat is out to the back, so you can easily sleep with on open window, it is very calm.
The district Eppendorf is a rather Bohemian neighbourhood, very safe and central and it is considered one of the best in Hamburg (which is obviously depending on your personal taste :) )
You will be sharing the flat with one flatmate, who is our Au Pair. We are living in a different building, so your flatmate will be spending time away from the flat as well.
No Schufa (request now) required.
Minimum duration 12 months.
Before moving in, you are required to provide proof of a personal liability insurance, which is mandatory in Germany (cost ca. 60 Euros per annum).
In case you cannot be present in Hamburg, a video tour to show you the flat is possible. However, if we are to sign a contract and we have not met in person before, you will need to pay the first month of rent with the signature of the contract, which is non refundable if you change your mind. The deposit can then be paid on the your moving in date. I am aware that this is uncommon, however, I need to ensure that you will actually show up and rent the place when I reserve it for you. An alternative could be an online deposit service.
Feel free to come personally or send a friend to stop by and ensure that I and the flat are real :)
Rent is payable on the 1st of the month in advance.
1.000 mbit wifi is available and the TV runs via internet as well.
Upon departure, we kindly ask you to leave your room and the common room clean and maintained. In case of non-compliance, a departure cleaning fee of 85 Euro may apply.
Unfortunately, the tenants did not stand out by maintaining an acceptable level of cleanliness in the flat, so there will be a cleaning service in the flat once every fortnight, of which the tenants have to bear and share the costs.
