Hey,

my name is Jan, 23, and I´m going to do an Erasmus semester in Istanbul from September this year till January 2017. Probably I´d like to do an internship. But it´s not safe at the moment.
I study philosophy and economics in Berlin and I´m really looking forward to study and live in Istanbul. I heard a lot of great things about the city relating to the culture, the location between Europe and Asia, the history, politics and the vibrant life on the streets of Istanbul. I´ll try to experience as many things as possible during my stay in Istanbul. So I´ll be often on the road, I think.
I often lived in living communities since I study. So I am kind of experienced how life in shared flats could be. I´m a really open minded guy who is active and loves to get to know to new things.
Normally I like to cook in the flat. I use to speak a lot to my flat mates and like to hang around occasionally.
I like to do sports like basketball, capoeira or bouldering. Furthermore I like to go to concerts or bars. During summer time I often relax in parks with friends.
