The shared flat is located on the 1st floor of the house with a lift. The room is around 14m2 and is fully furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, writing desk and shelves. It overlooks Markgrafenstraße which, being a quiet street, does not cause any disturbance.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, large refrigerator with freezer, and dishwasher. Appliances such as a kettle, microwave and toaster are also available. Cutlery, crockery and pans are available for shared use.
Of particular note is the presence of two bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a washing machine. A real comfort!
The flat is located in the city centre of Karlsruhe. The bus stops 'Rüppurrer Tor', 'Kronenplatz' and 'Markplatz' are in the immediate vicinity.
The KIT university is about 10 minutes away on foot and less than 5 minutes by bicycle.
Many supermarkets can be easily reached within a few minutes. The nearby Check-in centre (Edeka) offers a wide selection of foodstuffs, while the 'Ettlinger Tor' shopping centre, in addition to a Rewe, offers a wide selection of shops for shoppers.
Those looking for places to party will have a wide choice of clubs within walking distance.
Your future flatmates are Turbo (22, German), Hugo (23, French) and Sonia (23, Chinese). Turbo is studying industrial engineering, Hugo management engineering and Sonia ICT at KIT. If you are looking for an international environment and want to learn more about traditions and cultures, this is the place for you!
Life at WG is very relaxed. We occasionally cook together, go to the cinema or to a pub for a beer. So, if you need time to yourself no one will get upset, but if you enjoy sharing time together, everyone is very happy to participate.
To keep our shared flat comfortable and clean, we have a cleaning schedule that rotates every week.
The rent is € 349 warm. It includes heating and water. Internet and electricity are shared directly between the flatmates in the amount of € 10 per month for Wifi and € 25 per month for electricity.
