Das möblierte Zimmer liegt im Keller eines Einfamilienhauses mit einem separaten eigenen Eingang. Die Küche und die sanitären Einrichtungen liegen ebenfalls im Keller und müssen sich mit einem zweiten Mieter geteilt werden. Das Erdgeschoss und der 1. Stock sind an eine junge Familie vermietet. In dem Zimmer vorhanden ist ein Kleiderschrank, sowie eine Kommode, ein Bett, ein Stuhl und ein Schreibtisch. W-Lan ist vorhanden.
Das Haus liegt ca. 1000 Meter von der Uni entfernt. Die Uni kann zu Fuß oder per Bus einfach erreicht werden. In die Innenstadt von Kiel sind es ca. 5 Km. Der ÖPNV bietet gute Anbindungen. Einkaufmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar.
Der zweite Mieter ist Student. Er ist häufig außer Haus und übernachtet zu Hause, da er die Vorlesungen teilweise online verfolgt.
Bei den 300 € handelt es sich um eine Warmmiete, weitere Abgaben werden nicht erhoben.
