Ich werde in Kürze aus meiner wunderschönen WG in der Scharnhorststraße ausziehen, um mit einer Freundin zusammen zu ziehen. Wir sind derzeit vier Mitbewohner. Die Wohnung hat vier Zimmer und ist Hochparterre. An der Küche ist ein gemütlicher Balkon. Mein Zimmer ist das größte (~23m2) mit zwei Fenstern, großen Fensterbänken und mit Blick auf den Kant-Park. In Absprache lasse ich gerne einige meiner Möbel zurück.

I will soon be leaving my wonderful WG in Scharnhorststraße to move in with a friend.
We are currently four flatmates living together in a 4-bedroom apartment on the ground floor with a cute balcony.
My room is the biggest (~23m2). It has two windows with wide sills and has a nice view of Kant-Park. I might be leaving most of the furniture behind (wardrobe, shelf, bed frame).
Die Wohnung liegt zwischen KarLi und Fockeberg. In zwei Minuten kannst Du die nächste Tram-Station erreichen (Kurt-Eisner/Karl-Liebknecht-Straße). Hier fahren Trams in Nord-Süd und Busse in Ost-West Richtung. Da das aber so super in Leipzig geht, fahren wir meist mit dem Rad ;) In 15 min bist Du in der Innenstadt, in 20 am See und für fast jedes Ziel gibt es einen schönen Weg durch einen Park.
Auf der KarLi gibt es jede Menge Kneipen, (Schnell-) Restaurants und kleine Geschäfte. In fußläufiger Entfernung gibt es einen Konsum, Netto und Aldi. Rewe, ein Biolodaden sowie Lidl sind auch nicht weit.
Außerdem gibt es einige Spätis mit fabulöser Bierauswahl um die Ecke...

The apartment is situated between Fockeberg and KarLi. You can reach the next tram-station in two minutes (Kurt-Eisner/Karl-Liebknecht-Straße). Several trams and buses pass by here directions north-south and east-west.
But usually we go everywhere by bike, because it is so easy in Leipzig ;) You reach the city center in 15 minutes, the lake ~ 20 minutes and for nearly every destination there is a nice way through a park.
Moreover, the KarLi has plenty of bars, restaurants and small shops. On foot you easily reach Konsum, Aldi and Netto, Rewe, organic food shops and Lidl. Furthermore, we have some Spätis with great selections of beer around the corner...
Die WG besteht aus Carmen (39), Lukas (29), Andres (43) und momentan noch mir.
Wir haben uns alle erst in der WG kennengelernt, woraus sich schnell ein freundschaftliches Zusammensein entwickelt hat.
Carmen macht eine Umschulung im medizinischen Bereich und ist begeisterte Kletterin. Sie hat lange in England gelebt und ist gern unterwegs zum Wandern, Trekking oder Campen.
Lukas studiert Informatik und arbeitet am MPI. Er kommt aus Niedersachsen und ist sowohl für Späße, als auch für ernste und nachdenkliche Gespräche zu haben. Das Radio in der Küche ist auf mysteriöse Weise von seiner Präsens abhängig, aber am schönsten ist es hier ja eh, wenn alle da sind :)
Andres ist Ingenieur und arbeitet für eine Glasfassadenfirma hier in Leipzig. Gelegentlich muss er Baustellen in ganz Deutschland besuchen. Andres kommt aus Barcelona, er spricht perfekt Catalán, Spanisch, Englisch und auch sehr gut Deutsch. Er mag es gern etwas ruhiger, diskutiert aber auch gerne mit und freut sich über gemeinsame Abende in der WG.

The WG consists of Carmen (39), Lukas (29), Andres (43) and me.
We didn't knew each other before but by living together we became kind of friends. We like to share a lot, but it is not necessary.
Carmen is a medical assistant in training and is a climbing enthusiast. She lived in England for 5 years and she loves outdoorsy stuff (like hiking & camping).
Lukas studies informatics and works at MPI. He's always up for laughs & going out and enjoys meditation.
Andres is an engineer and works for a company in Leipzig. He likes to keep to himself most of the time, but enjoys hanging out together on the balcony or in the kitchen just as much.
