gemeinschaftliche queere WG am Campus sucht 2 MITBEWOHNIS *** 2 FLATMATES WANTED for queer, shared-flat (right on campus)

Du bist direkt am Campus und damit auch am Wald, durch den die Ilmenau fließt. Die Innenstadt und der Bahnhof sind, je nach deinem Tempo, jeweils 10-15 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad entfernt, oder eine gute halbe Stunde zu Fuß. Busse fahren auch regelmäßig direkt vor der Tür.

Die WG hat 2 Bäder, einen riiiesiger Flur mit Klavier, Sofas und geteiltem Kleiderschrank, eine große Küche mit Plattform und top Soundanlage und einen Kellerraum mit kleiner Werkstatt für Holz- und Fahrradprojekte.

Der Garten, der offiziell nicht wirklich zu uns gehört, aber von uns aktiv genutzt wird, hat eine balkonähnliche Plattform, die aus dem Küchenfenster in den Garten geht, eine Feuerstelle und einen Lehmofen für Pizza zu bieten. (Unser wöchentliches wg-pizza-date ist mit dem aufblühenden Sommer und seinen überfordernd vielen Alternativangeboten etwas aus dem Wochentakt geraten, aber Pizza ist definitiv trotzdem one of the many hearts der WG.) Außerdem gibt es 2 Hochbeete, die dieses Jahr etwas chaotisch bepflanzt wurden, aber sie freuen sich über pflanzenthusiastische neue Mitbewohnis + es gibt eine große Regentonne zum einfachen Gießen.

Das Haus hat Fahrradständer draußen und auch im Keller gibt es Abstellmöglichkeiten für Fahrräder.





You are right by the campus and thus near the forest through which the Ilmenau River flows. The city center and the train station are, depending on your speed, 10-15 minutes away by bike, or a good half hour walk. There are also regular buses leaving right outside the door.

The WG has 2 bathrooms, a huge hallway with piano, sofas and shared closet, a large kitchen with a platform to sit on and a nice sound system. There is also a cellar compartment with a small workshop space for woodworking and bike projects.

The backyard, which doesn't really belong to us officially but is actively used by us, has a balcony-like platform that is docked to kitchen window’s windowsill into the backyard, a fire pit, and a clay oven for pizza. (our weekly pizza-date has gotten a bit out of sync with the beginning of summer and its overwhelming number of alternative options, but pizza is definitely still one of the many hearts of our flat). There are also 2 raised garden beds that have been planted somewhat chaotically this year, but they are happy to have plant-enthusiastic new roommates & there is a large rain barrel for easy access for watering.

The house has bike racks outside and there is storage for bikes in the cellar which is shared with the other flats as well.

Leider ist unsere WG nicht mit dem Rollstuhl zugänglich.

Wir werden am 8., 9. und 10.8. zu Kennlerngesprächen einladen - du kannst ja schonmal schauen, ob du da in Lüneburg sein kannst. Wenn nicht, können wir vielleicht auch ein Treffen zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt ermöglichen, aber dann würdest du höchstwahrscheinlich nur 3 von uns kennenlernen.

Bis auf Weiteres bleiben 4 Menschen in der WG wohnen. Aus unterschiedlichsten Gründen besteht jedoch bei allen 4 von uns eine Art Aufbruchsstimmung. Daher die wichtige Info: Es könnte sein, dass ungefähr innerhalb des nächsten halben Jahres (fast) alle von uns ausziehen. Das ist grade noch nicht so richtig absehbar, aber unsere WG ist trotzdem vor allem ideal für Personen, die Lust haben auf den Aufbau einer neuen Wohnkonstellation. Dass es bei uns vieren grade eine Aufbruchsstimmung gibt, soll aber nicht heißen, dass wir in der nächsten Zeit keine Wertschätzung und Arbeit mehr in unsere WG stecken wollen - im Gegenteil, uns liegt schönes gemeinschaftliches Zusammenleben weiterhin sehr am Herzen.

Wir wohnen in einem Wohnheim von CampusWohnen, das bedeutet von der Wohnheimsverwaltung aus, dass nur Menschen, die gerade an einer Uni eingeschrieben sind, einziehen können und auch nur so lange im Wohnheim wohnen bleiben können, wie sie eingeschrieben sind. Wir haben gerade keine aktuellen Infos dazu, wie die Wohnheimsverwaltung zu potenziellen Mieter*innen steht, die gerade eine Ausbildung oder einen Freiwilligendienst etc. machen. Falls du eine Ausbildung, ein FSJ/FÖJ etc. machst und dich für unsere WG interessierst, fragen wir aber gerne nochmal bei der Verwaltung nach.


wichtige Eckdaten zu uns:

Wir vier studieren in Hamburg und Lüneburg und uns verbindet sehr viel Enthusiasmus für kreative Dinge, die von Musik über Zeichnen bis hin zum Schrauben an Fahrrädern reicht. Unser Zusammenleben ist phasenweise sehr eng, mit vielen gemeinsamen Aktionen, Coworking, Filmabenden, Kochen, Musik hören und rumblödeln, mehr oder weniger regelmäßige Pizzaabende, sich gegenseitig alles mögliche erzählen und so weiter, und dann gibt es auch wieder ruhigere Phasen, wie zum Beispiel jetzt in den Semesterferien, wo einige von uns viel unterwegs und einige an ihren Schreibtischen festgewachsen sind. Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall, wenn du Lust hast, unser Zusammenleben nach deinen Bedürfnissen aktiv mitzugestalten.

Da viel Zusammenleben in der Küche passiert: Wir essen vegan bis auf seltene vegetarische (containerte) Ausnahmen und kochen gerne gemeinsam. Wir kaufen alles an Essen gemeinsam ein (bis auf very special Genussgüter). Finanziert wird das Ganze durch einen wöchentlichen Soli-Beitrag, du zahlst also so viel du willst und kannst in unsere gemeinsame Kasse. Wir containern hin und wieder, eine Person von uns hat regelmäßige Foodsharing-Abholungen und jede Woche kommt eine Biokiste mit frischem Gemüse. Weitere Lebensmittel kaufen wir im Supermarkt oder bei KOKO, einer food-coop (die Menschen, die KOKO am Laufen halten, kaufen in großen Mengen ein und Mitglieder können ihre Lebensmittel von ihnen beziehen, um Abfall zu vermeiden). uund es gibt ein Lastenrad in der wg:)

Wir positionieren uns und unseren Wohnraum klar als linksradikal und queerfeministisch. Zur Zeit sind wir eine FLINTA* WG [Frauen, lesbische, inter-, nichtbinäre, trans- und agender-Menschen], aber wir sind auch offen für cis-Männer. Unabhängig vom Geschlecht ist es uns wichtig, dass unsere WG ein Ort bleibt, an dem Privilegien und Verhaltensweisen so reflektiert werden, dass wir uns als queere Menschen wohlfühlen können. Wir versuchen, in unseren Wohnraum Diskriminierung abzubauen, wo wir unser Verhalten und unsere Privilegien zu reflektieren und immer weiter miteinander und voneinander zu lernen. Leider ist das Gebäude nicht barrierefrei zugänglich. Wir sind alle gegen Corona geimpft und fänden es cool, wenn du das auch bist (außer natürlich, das ist aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht möglich).

We would like to invite you to get to know each other on 8th, 9th, and 10th of August – maybe you could visit Lüneburg on one of those days? If not, we might be able to arrange a meeting on another date, but then you would most likely only meet 3 of us.

For the time being 4 people will stay in the flat. However, for a variety of reasons, all 4 of us are in some sort of “departure mood”. Therefore, the important info: It could be that within the next half year (almost) all of us will move out. This situation isn’t foreseeable at the moment though, but our shared flat would be ideal for people who would like to partake in building a new living constellation. The fact that the four of us are in the mood for a new beginning doesn't mean that we don't want to put any more appreciation and work into our shared living in the near future - on the contrary, we still care a lot about living together in a nice community.

We live in a dormitory of CampusWohnen, due to the dormitory administrations regulations this means that only people who are currently enrolled/will be enrolled at a university can move in and can only stay in the dormitory as long as they are enrolled. We don't have any current information about the regulations of the dormitory administration regarding potential tenants who are currently doing an apprenticeship, voluntary service, etc. If you are doing an apprenticeship, voluntary service (FSJ/FÖJ etc.) and are interested in our WG, we would be happy to ask the administration again.

All four of us study in Hamburg and Lüneburg and we have a lot of enthusiasm about creative things reaching from music and drawing to working on bicycles. Our life together is sometimes very tightly knit, with many common activities, coworking, movie nights, cooking, listening to music and fooling around, more or less regular pizza nights, telling each other everything possible and so on, and then there are also quieter phases, such as now in the summer-semester-break, where some of us travel a lot and some are stuck at their desks writing term papers. In any case, we are happy if you would feel like actively shaping our life together.
Since a lot of our shared living takes place in the kitchen: We all eat vegan except for rare vegetarian things we dug up on our latest dumpster dive can and like to cook together. We buy all food together (except for very fancy food one wants all to oneself). The whole thing is financed by a weekly solidarity contribution, so you pay as much as you want and are able to for our shared food shopping. We go dumpster divin every now and then, one of us has regular foodsharing pickups, and an organic box of fresh vegetables arrives every week. We buy other food from the supermarket or from KOKO, a food-coop (they buy in bulk and members can get their food from them in order to reduce waste). aand there is a cargo bike in the wg that everyone can use

We clearly position ourselves and our living space as radical left and queer feminist. (at the moment we are a FLINTA* [women, lesbian, inter, nonbinary, trans, and agender people] flat, but we are also open for cis men). No matter one’s gender it is important to us that our WG remains a place where privileges and behaviours are reflected in a way that we can feel comfortable as queer people. We try to reduce discrimination in our living space as much as we can and reflect our behaviours and privileges, and to keep learning with and also from each other. Unfortunately, the building is not barrier-free accessible. We are all vaccinated against Corona and would find it cool if you are too (unless of course you can't be due to health reasons).
