We are offering a bright 14m2 room in a beautiful 115m2 apartment in the city-center of Munich. Most of the apartment space is allocated to a spacious shared area with a large kitchen, hallway, and living room that enjoys a South-West orientation with two large windows. The apartment is located in a renovated old building with high ceilings and beautiful wooden floors. The place has everything you would need to survive your day to day life: a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms (one small with sink and toilet, one large incl. bath tub), a washing machine, drying space, and a generous basement compartment for storage.
The apartment is centrally located in south Lehel/Isartor between the city center and the Isar. It is just 3 min walking distance to the river (Prater Island), 5 min to Marienplatz, 10 min to Gärtnerplatz and 15 min to English Garden. Also, you will find nearby the Isartor station that connects you via S-Bahn (Stammstrecke) and Tram (16, 17, 18) to the rest of the city and the airport (35min). The neighborhood offers grocery shopping, German/Italian/Indian/Korean/Chinese/… restaurants, a cinema, some popular cafes, and you can reach most popular club and bar areas easily.
You will be sharing the flat with Karsten (33, from Paderborn, working at a technology company) and Stefan (30, from Aalen, working in a start-up). Although we all work and do not spend too much time at home, people will say you will have a good time with us "enjoyable flatmates", up for occasional dinner/drinks after work and solid material for a night out.
We are fluent in German and English, un peu de francais, un poco espanol, italiano. We are looking for an open-minded person that enjoys the company of his/her flatmates.
The monthly rent includes internet and cleaning (currently every week). Presumably, there will be the opportunity to take over a bed and some other stuff as well which can still be discussed with our leaving flatmate if you are interested.
