Das Zimmer ist mit 30qm das größte in der Wohnung. Zwei Fenster gehen zur, für die zentrale Lage sehr ruhigen Mittelseestraße raus. Durch die hohen Decken wirkt es extra geräumig und bietet auf jeden Fall viel Platz um sich zurück zu ziehen. Meine persönlichen Sachen würde ich für die Zeit der Zwischenmiete woanders lagern. Die Möbel, die auf den Fotos zu sehen sind bleiben im Zimmer: Bett (140x200), Sideboard, Bücherregal, Fernseher (mit Kabelfernsehen ;–)), Schreibtisch + Stuhl, Teppich.
The room is the largest in the flat with 30 sqm. Two windows face the Mittelseestraße, which is very quiet considering its central location. The high ceilings make it feel extra spacious and definitely offer plenty of room to retreat. I would store my personal belongings elsewhere for the time of the interim tenancy. The furniture shown in the photos will stay in the room: bed (140x200), sideboard, bookshelves, TV (with cable TV ;-)), desk + chair, carpet.
Die Wohnung liegt mitten in Offenbach, zwischen Marktplatz und Hauptbahnhof. Dementsprechend ist alles für den täglichen Bedarf und darüber hinaus in nächster Nähe. Um die Ecke sind ein paar nette Kneipen und ansonsten ist man mit der vom Hauptbahnhof in 5 min oder mit der S-Bahn in 10 min in Frankfurt.
The flat is located in the centre of Offenbach, between Marktplatz and the Offenbach main railway station. Accordingly, everything for daily needs and beyond is in the immediate neighbourhood. There are a few nice pubs around the corner and otherwise you can reach Frankfurt in 5 minutes by train from the main station or in 10 minutes by S-Bahn.
In der WG wohnen noch Lee und Amelie. Lee ist gerade erst eingezogen und studiert ab Oktober Kunst an der Hfg. Sie kommt ursprünglich aus Südkorea, hat dort Komposition studiert, ist seit 3+- Jahren hier hat bis vor kurzem in Berlin gelebt. Amelie arbeitet im Saasfee an der Bar und studiert ebenfalls kunst. Sie treibt gerade vor allem die lang liegen gebliebenen Pläne, die Küche umzugestalten voran. Sie kocht, wie wir alle, super gerne. Unser WG-Leben gestaltet sich relativ entspannt. Wir haben einen Putzplan, ansonsten zählen wir auf ein rücksichtsvolles Miteinander. Manchmal treffen wir uns in der Küche und tauschen uns über unseren Tag aus, trinken mal ein Bier oder Kaffee zusammen oder schmieden Pläne für den Hinterhofgarten – wir haben aber alle einen individuellen Alltag und ziehen uns manchmal in unsere Zimmer zurück.
Lee and Amelie also live in the Flat. Lee has just moved in and will start studying Art at Hfg from October on. She is originally from Southkorea and lived in Berlin for three years before moving to Frankfurt. She studied composition in Southkorea. Amelie works at Saasfee Pavillon.
She is also currently pushing ahead with plans to remodel the kitchen, which have been on the back burner for a long time. Like all of us, she loves to cook (and as far as I can tell, she cooks excellently) :-). Our flat-sharing life is relatively relaxed. We have a cleaning schedule, otherwise we count on each other to be considerate. Sometimes we meet in the kitchen and talk about our day, have a beer or coffee together or make plans for the backyard garden - but we all have individual daily lives and sometimes retreat to our rooms.
ps: das auszugsdatum kann etwas flexibel sein, zum 1. oder 15. april möchte aber unsere aktuelle zwischenmieterin Elli gerne das Zimmer von Dani übernehmen. Es gibt also keine Option, das Zimmer langfristig zu mieten.
