Die Zimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eines 3-stöckigen Hauses. Es hat ungefähr eine Größe von 15 Quadratmetern. Die Wohnung selbst verfügt über 3 WG-Zimmer, einen Flur, ein Badezimmer, eine Küche mit Geschirrspüler sowie einen großen Garten, den wir mit den beiden anderen WGs im Haus teilen. Im Garten gibt es auch eine Hütte zum Entspannen oder zur Aufbewahrung von Gartenmöbeln. Darüber hinaus haben wir einen geräumigen Kellerraum mit zwei Waschmaschinen, wo man ebenfalls Wäsche aufhängen oder beispielsweise ein Fahrrad lagern kann.
The room is located on the ground floor of a 3-story house. It has an approximate size of 15 square meters. The apartment itself has 3 shared rooms, a hallway, a bathroom, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a large garden that we share with the other two shared apartments in the house. In the garden, there is also a hut for relaxation or storage of garden furniture. Additionally, we have a spacious basement room with two washing machines, where you can also hang laundry or store, for example, a bicycle.
Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage, da man einerseits schnell mit dem Bus (8min) oder zu Fuß (15min) in der Innenstadt ist, aber auch gleichzeitig ein wenig Ruhe genießt und innerhalb 10 Minuten im Wald spazieren kann. Außerdem gibt es einen Aldi, welcher zu Fuß 2 Minuten entfernt ist. Entsprechend braucht man kein Auto um alles zu erreichen. Falls du ein Auto hast, gibt es öffentliche Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür.
The apartment has a great location, as you can quickly reach the city center either by bus (8 minutes) or on foot (15 minutes), while also enjoying some peace and being able to take a walk in the forest within 10 minutes. Additionally, there is an Aldi supermarket just a 2-minute walk away. Consequently, you don't need a car to reach everything. If you do have a car, there are public parking spaces right outside the door.
Hello, I'm Adam, originally from Sweden and currently pursuing my PhD in particle physics at Siegen since September last year. I've been living in Germany for a while now and have enjoyed the WG (shared apartment) lifestyle, having lived in a WG in Sweden for five years. Right now, two of the rooms in the WG are be empty as my former roommates have completed their studies and moved out.
I'm looking for like-minded people who appreciate the WG life and aren't just looking for a functional living arrangement. While I'm in the process of learning German (just finished the B1 course), I'd prefer housemates who are reasonably fluent in English. However, I'm open to practicing German as well. In my free time, I like to do or watch sports, sail (although that's not so easy in Siegen), play board games, or just talk about an interesting topic.
