This flat is a really big altbau flat with 7 rooms. At the moment we are 4 women living here, each with a separate room. The flat contains a large living room with couches, a beamer, a small table and a piano, a dining room (which is mostly used as creative space), a big kitchen with basically everything (stove, oven, fridge + freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine, mixer...), bathroom plus toilet with a washing machine and clothes dryer, as well as a separate toilet. Your room will be number 4 on the blueprint (look at photos).
The flat is situated in the first district, so right in the centre of Vienna. The closest public transport station is Schwedenplatz (about 3min by foot), where you have access to the underground lines U1 and U4 as well as to trams 1 und 2. Line U3 is about 7min by foot (Stubentor or Stephansplatz). For shopping, there's a supermarket right across the street, and there are more supermarkets and drugstores all around. The area is quite vivid, there are some restaurants and bars around, you can walk to Stephansdom in max. 10min (depending on your walking speed haha). Also, the University of Applied Arts, the Stadtpark and the Donaukanal (which is nice to walk/run at) are in walking distance (which means 5-10min).
We are 3 students and one physiotherapist living here, and have all known each other for quite some time now. Usually we have dinner together (if home and hungry) and when there's time, we like to watch movies together, cook, go to flee markets, play games... We are vegetarian/vegan and do not smoke. Also, we are not really party people, although from time to time we do enjoy a night out.
If you're interested in joining our wonderful home, just send us a message and we'll be happy to meet you in person or online (if you're not already in Vienna) in order to get to know each other, answer any open questions, and figure out if the chemistry works. The room is only available from May 2024 to August 2024; however, there will be a different room available from September onwards.
