Hallo du :) Vor etwas über 1 Jahr sind wir als WG-Neugründung ins Schneckenhaus neben dem Augarten gezogen. Es war eine schöne Zeit voller Erfahrungen, Gruppenprozessen und Lernen, Spielen, Leben, Lieben, Fühlen, … 2 Menschis ziehen Ende April aus, es zieht sie mehr ins Grüne (verständlich), weshalb wir in einer Phase der Veränderung sind. Wir befinden uns im Prozess, auf bedürfnissorientiertes Wohnen zu wechseln, weshalb sich unsere zuvor privaten Zimmer gerade in neue Gemeinschaftsräume verwandeln. Es wird voraussichtlich 1-2 Schlafzimmer geben, einen Rückzugsraum, ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Erker und vieeeel Sonne, viele Pflanzen, … wir freuen uns darauf, 1-2 neue Personen in unsere queere Gemeinschaft aufzunehmen, die übrigens über die Wohnungswände hinausgeht (gute Vernetzung in der Stadt, oftmals Besuch da). Unser Wohnstil erfordert klare Kommunikation, den Kontakt mit den eigenen Gefühlen, Grenzen, Bereitschaft zu geteilter Care-Arbeit, Offenheit und Vertrauen. Wir sind alle im Lernprozess und bereit, Fehler zu machen und zu verzeihen, gemeinsam zu wachsen; wir sind neugierig und voller Vorfreude auf die nächste Etappe im Schneckenhaus. Wir fühlen Aufregung und auch Ängste: wird das funktionieren? und wenn ja, wie gehts uns damit? Wir fühlen Vorfreude. Wir fühlen Frühling und Neuanfang. Veränderungen finden bei uns aber nicht nur auf individueller Ebene statt, sondern unser Interesse gilt auch strukturellem Wandel, was unter anderem durch Aktivismus ausgelebt wird.

Hast du Lust, an diesem Prozess teilzunehmen? Suchst du gerade ein neues zu Hause, gern auch nur für ein paar Monate, und kannst dir vorstellen, ein Schlafzimmer mit anderen Menschen zu teilen? Bist du offen für gemeinschaftliches Leben und Gruppenprozesse? Bist du neugierig auf uns und willst uns kennenlernen? So, jetzt klingt das für mich so, als wär das Leben im Schneckenhaus ein full-time job :D es erfordert bestimmt eine gewisse Aktivität und Teilnahme, but it’s not! Wir sind alle relativ viel unterwegs auch, manchmal am Reisen, manchmal am sleepovern bei friends & lovers, … Und wir brauchen alle mal (manchmal mehr, manchmal weniger) space, wollen nicht sozial sein & mit niemanden reden: und das ist auch sehr willkommen und ok! Alles kann, nix muss… :) 

Meld dich doch gern bei uns, wenn du Feuer in dir spürst und Lust auf eine liebevolle, queer-feministische WG-fam hast (bitte inkludier das wort 'schumilastikum', dass wir wissen, dass du das hier tatsächlich gelesen hast); wir haben Platz für dich und dein Bett und deine 7Sachen, aber lieber weniger Sachen, weil die Wohnung schon ziemlich eingerichtet ist. ABER dank der Umbauphase gibts gestalterischen Spielraum, lass uns unser zu Hause gemeinsam gestalten! Hello you :) A little over a year ago we moved into the Schneckenhaus next to the Augarten as a new shared flat. It was a wonderful time full of experiences, group processes and learnings, playing, living, loving, feeling,... 2 people are moving out at the end of April, they are more drawn to the green (understandable), which is why we are in a phase of change. We are in the process of switching to needs-based living, which is why our previously private rooms are currently being transformed into new shared spaces. There will probably be 1-2 bedrooms, a quiet room, a large living room with a bay window and lots of sun, lots of plants, ... we are looking forward to welcoming 1-2 new people into our queer community, which, by the way, goes beyond the walls of the apartment (connected in the city, often visitors coming over). Our living style requires clear communication, contact with one's own feelings, boundaries, willingness to share care work, openness and trust. We are all in the learning process and ready to make mistakes and forgive, to grow together; We are curious and looking forward to the next stage in our snail house. We feel excitement and also fear: will this work? And if so, how are we dealing with it? We feel anticipation. We feel spring and new beginnings. For us, changes don't just take place on an individual level; we are also interested in structural change, which is carried out, among other things, through activism.

So, now it sounds to me like living in the snail house is a full-time job :D it definitely requires a certain amount of activity and participation, but it’s not! We're all on the move quite a bit, sometimes traveling, sometimes having sleepovers with friends & lovers, ... And we all need (sometimes more, sometimes less) space, don't want to be social & don't want to talk to anyone: and that's very welcome too and ok! Everything can, nothing has to... :)
