It's a classic 1950s old house with high ceiling and a total area of 110m2, equipped with a cozy kitchen with a wood-paneled seating area, like in a tavern! Bathroom with bathtub and washing machine, a separate toilet, a spacious storage room, a long hallway and three large rooms. Everything your heart desires is there, even a dishwasher! The apartment is on the mezzanine floor and stays reasonably cool in summer, thanks to the brick tiles along the hallway which makes it all the more enticing to stay in on hot summer days.
The room is approx. 18 square meters and costs 350 euros, all inclusive, is available for the whole of September and move-ins in August can be arranged/discussed.
*** The room is unfurnished but we can provide a simple bed if required. Only for September! ***
The apartment is quiet and at the same time very central in the third district, just behind the S-Bahn station Rennweg, directly at the side entrance to the beautiful botanical garden in Jacquingasse. Gerlgasse is a relatively quiet one-way street in the middle of Fasangasse; In the immediate vicinity there is everything you need: Hofer, Bäcker, Billa, Bipa, DM, a Turkish shop (which is open 7 days a week until 11 p.m.), a great little Korean grocery store, pizza, kebab and falafel shops, three barber shops, tram 71 and 0, and the 77A stop around the corner in addition to the S-Bahn. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Karlsplatz and the main train station.
We (Christian, 38 and Michelle, 29) like to live in a flat share because it is of course more practical and cheaper, but above all it is more sociable. We can share things from food to tasting to everyday stories and drama, and do things together like outdoor sports which we both are a big fan of! Since we both have a job, the apartment is primarily a retreat and relaxation area for us.
In any case, we are looking for someone who is grounded, appreciates order and cleanliness, but does not overdo it, basically someone who respectfully cohabits with others :-)
We look forward to hearing from you!
