Helles WG Zimmer in perfekter Lage, große Wohnung mit Balkon

We are Efe & Susanne, looking for a flatmate for our cozy 4-room apartment with a big balcony, located in 6th district, right at the heart of Vienna.

Location facts: The flat is located in the best part of the Gumpendorfer Straße, surrounded by lots of great cafes, bars, shops, and cinemas (Cafe Phil, Sperl, Top Kino.. are less than a minute of walk). It is located between Mariahilferstraße and Naschmarkt, which are also reachable by feet within 2 minutes. You need 5-6 mins walk to U4 Kettenbrückengasse, U3 Neubaugasse, Burgring, U1 Karlsplatz. Basically, you can find everything you need within a very short distance.

About the flat: We have a really big shared area which includes an open kitchen, living room and eating area. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we also have a wide range of kitchen machines like an air fryer, a great coffee machine, a sandwich maker, a juicer etc :)
From the common area you can directly enter the balcony which is also very spacious, private, and has perfect evening sun in summer :) The balcony is also protected from the rain which makes it even more enjoyable.
We have three sleeping rooms next to each other, as well as a small storage room. Bathroom includes a bathing tube and washing machine and the toilet is separate.

The room: The room is between 16-18 m2, spacious, and has big windows which make it very bright. It is very sunny, and gets direct sunlight in the morning ( perfect if you like having plants in your room ). It will be given without furniture except the bed and mattress.

Monthly costs:

Rent: 628€ per person.
Heating & warm water: Last year we have been paying 104€ per person for the Gas each month due to high energy prices. But we got an information that it will be reduced significantly from May on. Here we estimate about 60-70€ per person each month. (But we don’t know yet)
Electricity: We get bills every 3 months, the amount is always recalculated based on consumption. You can count it as approx. 20-25€ each month per person.
Internet: 11€ p.P.

Deposit and other costs:

Deposit 1600€, and 300€ for the bed and mattress. (The mattress is less than a year old, purchase price was around 450€)



Here is a bit about us:

Efe - I’m originally from Turkey, came to study in Vienna many years ago and after graduating from the University, I ended up in IT field where I found my passion. I’ve been working as an IT consultant for some years now.
Other than that, I’m very interested in electronic music, as a listener and also as a player from time to time, I like swimming, and riding my bike. I am interested in art, doing some digital drawings/illustrations and recently scuba diving was also added into my hobbies after my recent holiday in Indonesia. :) Last but not least, I’m also interested in cooking, I like very much to cook for my friends! :)

Susanne - I grew up in the beautiful Salzburg countryside and came to Vienna a few years ago with my desire to study sociology. I have already completed my degree in sociology and am currently concentrating mainly on my studies for psychotherapy, which I started a few years ago. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, meeting up with friends or spending time alone, reading books, listening to music, and traveling (mainly to the seaside) :)


More about us and what we expect:

We both lived in WG’s for the last few years. We're fully committed to adhering to the rules and expectations of a shared flat, and we place a high value on respecting each other's personal space :)
In our home, we place a high value on open communication and maintaining a positive atmosphere. We aim to be approachable and easy-going, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and respected. Occasional gatherings with friends are something we enjoy, and we're seeking a flatmate who shares this sentiment. Someone who is sociable and doesn't mind joining in on these get-togethers, perhaps over a glass of wine, would be a good fit for us :)
Moreover, Susi and I are in a relationship but it's important to note that we each have separate rooms, and we don't behave in a way that would make the living situation uncomfortable for a third person.
