Außerdem gibt es zahlreiche Bushaltestellen im Umkreis von 250 Metern + es fährt auch ein Nachtbus (wenn's mal länger werden sollte).

Lidl, Billa und Penny befinden sich im Umkreis von 100 Meter, zum Spar sinds 200m. Eine Post sind auch in der direkten Nachbarschaft. Im Umkreis gibt es Cafes, Pubs und Bars und die bekannte und beste (!) Pizzeria der Stadt: Pizzeria Disco Volante.

Ich wohne zurzeit mit den allercoolsten Mitbewohnern Doris, Fred and Julian. Wir treffen uns zum Snacken, Quatschen und Lachen im Essbereich, was als allgemeiner Gemeinschaftsraum dient. Wir kochen oft zusammen, um uns gegenseitig aufs Laufende zu bringen, was sich in unserem Leben so tut, nutzen den Raum aber auch, um unsere eigenen Sachen jeweils nebeneinander zu machen.

Es wird sich viel ändern in der nächsten Zeit in der WG, da zuerst Fred auszieht, dann in den Folgemonaten auch Doris und Julian! Aber das Spannende ist, dass du den neuen Raum mitgestalten kannst! :)

- Doris hat Geschichte und Italienisch studiert (und macht daher für alle frischen Tiramisu) und unterrichtet nun in Schulen und Volkshochschulen. Sie ist gern in der Natur unterwegs, viel am Land bei ihrem Freund und ihrer Familie und zieht zum 30.06 aus einem Zimmer aus, was ungefähr gleich groß ist wie dein zukünftiges.
- Trisha ist unsere Designerin und arbeitet parallel im Einzelhandel/Gastronomie. Sie kommt aus Südafrika, mit portugiesisch-nordischen Wurzeln, kocht gerne asiatisch und vegetarisch, und wird längerfristig in der WG bleiben. Sie liebt es, kreativ zu werden, sei es Malen, Collagen, Galeriebesuche oder einfach in der Natur zu sein
- Zum 1.9. zieht dann Trishas jüngere Schwester Monique ein. Sie zieht zurück nach Wien aus Singapur mit ihrem Filipino Ehemann André in das größte Zimmer. Monique ist ausgebildete Köchin, die es natürlich liebt zu kochen, malen und Zeit draußen zu verbringen. Andre ist Innenraumdesigner und spielt gerne Basketball und geht super gern bummeln auf Flohmärkten mit Monique.
- Julian arbeitet im Marketing und studiert nebenbei weiter an der Uni Wien. Er ist waschechter Niederösterreicher, kocht ebenfalls gerne und würde noch bis zum Ende des Sommers euer Mitbewohner im großen Zimmer sein, bis Monique und André einziehen.

Bisher war es eine WG-Gemeinschaft, in der man sich wohl fühlt und gerne ein offenes Ohr für den anderen hat :) Genauso wichtig ist es uns, dass jeder seine Ruhe und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten hat, wenn man sie braucht - und, dass wir einfach ehrlich und offen miteinander kommunizieren. Wir haben auch einen Putzplan.

Da alle arbeiten schätzen wir abends unter der Woche eher die Ruhe, Partys sind eher weniger ;) Ansonsten jetzt wo das Leben wieder los geht nach der Pandemie sind wir gerne wieder viel draußen und unternehmen gerne viel!

Für die zukünftige WG Gemeinschaft wollen wir eine kuschelige Atmosphäre, wo wir uns alle wohlfühlen, wir selbst sein können und einander repektieren. Nachhaltigkeit ist uns wichtig, recyceln, Kräuter selbst anbauen etc. Als Kreative und Naturliebhaber freuen wir uns darauf, den Raum mit wunderschöner Kunst und vielen Pflanzen zu füllen. Wir freuen uns darauf mit dir gemeinsam zu lachen bei selbstgekochtem Essen, zu unseren Lieblingssongs zu tanzen und auch mal gelegentlich etwas gemeinsam zu unternehmen als WG.

I currently live with the coolest roommates Doris, Fred and Julian. We like to meet for snacks, catch ups and laughs in the dining room, which serves as a general gathering space. We often cook meals together as a way to catch up on life, but also use the space to do our own things together.

Sadly, there will soon be a lot of change in the shared apartment with Fred moving out and Doris and Julian following suit in the months after! But the exciting part is that you can be a part of us creating our new space together! :)

- Doris studied history and Italian (and therefore makes fresh tiramisu for everyone) and now teaches in schools and adult education centres. She likes to be out in nature and spends a lot of time in the country with her boyfriend and family. She is moving out of her room on June 30th which is about the same size as your future one.
- Trisha is our designer and works part-time in gastronomy. She comes from South Africa, with Portuguese-German roots, loves to cook Asian and vegetarian dishes, and will be staying in the shared apartment for a long time. She loves to do anything creative, such as painting, collage, gallery visits etc. and is a sucker for nature.
- As of September 1st Trisha's younger sister, Monique, will be moving back from Singapore into the largest room with her Filipino husband, Andre. Monique is a qualified chef who loves cooking, spending time in the outdoors and painting dates. Andre is an interior designer who loves to spend his spare time playing basketball and thrifting with Monique.
- Julian works in marketing and continues to study at the University of Vienna. He is a true Lower Austrian, also likes to cook and would be your roommate in the large room until the end of the summer, until Monique and Andre move in.

So far it has been a shared apartment where you feel comfortable and have an open ear for each other. :) It is just as important to us that everyone has their own peace and quiet and retreat when they need it - and that we are simply honest and communicate openly with each other.

Since everyone works, we tend to appreciate the quiet in the evenings during the week, and prefer going out to let off some steam and have some fun. Now that life is starting again after the pandemic, we enjoy being outside and finding fun activities to do!

Maintaining a clean space is important to us so we have a cleaning schedule that makes it easy for everyone to do their part! :)

For the new WG collective we want to continue having a homely space where we all feel comfortable to be ourselves and respect one another. We are focused on sustainability, recycling and growing our own herbs for cooking etc. As creatives and nature lovers we are excited to fill the space with beautiful art and plenty of plants. We look forward to laughing together over home cooked meals, dancing to our favourite tunes and going on the occasional WG outing together.
