The room is 23 m2, big and very beautiful with high ceilings and the typical Viennese Altbau style. It's the middle one on the floor plan. The doors between the rooms are well insulated, the window goes to Burggasse. The room is not furnished, so you're free to let your creativity express itself ;)
The room is in the heart of the hip and trendy 7th district at the intersection of Schottenfeldgasse and Burggasse. You have all kinds of supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Regarding public transport, there's 48a, 13a, as well as U6 (5 min) and U3 (10 min), which makes it very convenient to get around Vienna. There is a courtyard to store your bike as well.
Your flatmates will be Barbara and Azurra. We've lived together for the past 1.5 years in a shared apartment and are now starting a new flatshare, together with you?
Barbara (28) moved to Vienna from Germany 4 years ago. She works full time as a data scientist, and usually spends her free time outside, either climbing, hiking, dancing (to swing music and at techno clubs), or hanging out with friends. She's always down for activities and adventures.
Azurra (33) is half Irish, half Canadian, born in the Carribean, works remotely for a German university, loves meeting people, exercising with MyClubs, decluttering and, above all, swing dancing. The way to her heart is to keep the kitchen counter clean at all times ;-)
About our WG-life: We like socializing and spending time together, often have coffee breaks and dinner, go dancing or for workouts sometimes, and we'd be happy if you'd also like to be part of it. Since we're both working professionals, we feel like we've reached a ripe old age where we appreciate an (at least to some extent) mature living space. It is important to us that everyone in the apartment can openly communicate their needs / wants / issues so we can find a balance that suits all of us. Cleanliness is important to us, thus we'd like to establish a cleaning plan and stick to it! :)
To know if you've read this ad, we'd like you to send your message in English (which is also the language that we talk to each other in)! Please also attach a photo :)
We're renting the apartment around March 15th, so we're also not living there yet. The move-in date would be some time between 15th and 20th of March, depending on how the contract is set up - we'll learn about this soon. As we're in touch with the current tenants it would of course be possible for you to view the flat before then, after an initial get-to-know with us to see if we all feel like we could match.
