Entspannte WG beim Brunnenmarkt

Die Lage ist großartig! Die U6-Station Thaliastraße ist nur 3 Gehminuten entfernt und die 46er Straßenbahn ist direkt vor der Haustür. In nur 10 Minuten ist man beim Volkstheater.
Auf der anderen Straßenseite beginnt schon der Brunnemarkt, wo man täglich frisches Gemüse, Tandooribrot und Obst kaufen kann und samstags gibt es einen Bauernmarkt auf dem Yppenplatz, wo es auch tolle Cafés und Restaurants gibt. Zum Loft, Chelsea, Fania Live usw. am Gürtel braucht man auch nur ein paar Minuten, also keine langen Fahrten mit dem Nachtbus mehr, sobald man wieder ausgehen kann :)
Zur Uni braucht man mit dem Rad 15 Minuten. Die Straßenbahnlinien 2 (Neulerchenfelder Straße) und 5, der Bus 48A sind auch nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Straßenbahnlinie 44 ist ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt.
Man ist also gut angebunden und nur eine Gehminute von Penny/Hofer/Spar und DM/BIPA entfernt. Billa und denns sind ca 5-10 min zu Fuß.

The location is great! The U6 station Thaliastraße is only a 3-minute walk away and the 46 tram is right outside the front door. It only takes 10 minutes to get to the Volkstheater.
On the other side of the street already starts the Brunnemarkt, where you can buy fresh vegetables, tandoori bread and fruit every day and on Saturdays there is a farmers market on Yppenplatz, where you can also find great cafes and restaurants. To the Loft, Chelsea, Fania Live etc. on the Gürtel you also only need a few minutes, so no more long trips on the night bus once you can go out again :)
To the university you need 15 minutes by bike. The streetcar lines 2 (Neulerchenfelder Straße) and 5, the bus 48A are also only 5 minutes walk away. The streetcar line 44 is about 10 minutes walk away.
So you are well connected and only a minute walk away from Penny/Hofer/Spar and DM/BIPA. Billa and denns are about a 5-10 min walk.

Leider ist unsere liebe Alicia schon (fast) mit ihrem Master fertig und zieht bald wieder nach Spanien, weshalb wir jemand Neues für unsere WG suchen.

Julia (23) lebt seit ca. 3 Jahren in Wien, studiert Internationale Entwicklung und Publizistik und arbeitet nebenbei bei Greenpeace. Sie hört gern Musik, am liebsten live und vermisst Konzerte und das Tanzen. Sie mag Kaffee und Kuchen, Bücher und CDs, geht gern Schwimmen oder ins Kino und lässt sich von Dion in politische Diskussion verstricken.

Dion (26) hat Maschinenbau an der TU Wien studiert, gerade einen neuen Job begonnen und möchte vielleicht noch einen Master machen. Er kommt aus dem Kosovo und lebt seit 7 Jahren in Wien. Er macht gerne Sport, liest gerne Romane, geht auf Kunstausstellungen oder ins Kino und verstrickt Julia in Diskussionen über die Welt und das Leben.

Beide mögen Spieleabende, den Yppenplatz und gutes Brot und freuen sich auf Gürtelnächte nach dem Corona-Chaos!

Unfortunately, our dear Alicia is already (almost) done with her Master's degree and is moving back to Spain soon, which is why we are looking for someone new for our WG.

Julia (23) has been living in Vienna for about 3 years, studies International Development and Publizistik and works at Greenpeace on the side. She likes listening to music, preferably live, and misses concerts and going dancing. She likes coffee and cake, books and CDs, goes swimming or to the cinema and gets involved in political discussions with Dion.

Dion (26) studied mechanical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, has just started a new job and might want to do a master's degree. He comes from Kosovo and has lived in Vienna for 7 years. He enjoys sports, reading novels and going to art exhibitions or movies, and engages Julia in discussions about the world and life.

Both like game nights, the Yppenplatz and good bread and are looking forward to Gürtel-nights after the Corona-chaos!

Leider wird unser aktueller Vertrag nicht mehr verlängert, weshalb wir voraussichtlich im Januar 2022 aus der Wohnung müssen. Falls es dir hier allerdings gefällt, gibt es laut unserer Hausverwaltung die Möglichkeit, sich wieder "neu" für die Wohnung anzumelden.
Dion wird voraussichtlich im August ebenfalls ausziehen, um sich eine eigene Wohnung zu suchen. Es gäbe dann also die Möglichkeit, in das größere Zimmer (ca 21m2) umzuziehen.

Unfortunately, our current contract will not be renewed, so we will probably have to move out of the apartment in January 2022. However, if you like it here, according to our property management, there is the possibility to "re-register" for the apartment.
Dion will probably also move out in August to try living on his own, so there would then be the possibility to move into the larger room (approx. 21m2).
