Hallo zusammen!
My name is Lauren and I live in a shared flat in Hernals (Lacknergasse) with the rest being Austrians and Germans (we switch pretty fluidly between German and English in conversations)...
I am originally from California and will be flying back to the States for the month of May and am therefore looking for a subletter.
My room is super cosy but also has wonderful Altbau ceilings that makes it feel spacious:)
There is also a high bed area, that I mostly use for hanging out and having a cup of tea or as an extra work space. Furniture, sheets, towels etc. will all be available but I will bring some of my things down to the cellar so you have room for your stuff.
The WG itself is actually a combination of the two bottom-floor apartments, we have 3 baths, 3 toilets and 2 kitchens.

Usually we are eight people living here, but it's been rather quiet since the new year as many of us are finishing uni or have used the flexibility of online courses/work to visit home. Most of us are around 26/27 and, as mentioned, we are mostly studying and working. We are very open minded and have a lot of different hobbies and activities (football/sport, acting, nature, gaming, you name it;). But we share that we try to be careful with each other and try to spend some time together often, for example, maybe about once a week, we all cook and eat together. We share our food (which is actually extremely convenient), and everyone pays 5€ a day, but you are welcome to have your own food if this is not an option for you:)
