English:
The Apartment is a renovated old building in the 17th district at the Jörgerstraße, bordering the 18th district. The public transport ist close by with the U6 Alserstraße 3 minutes by foot as well as the 43 tram station ,,Palffygasse'' right around the corner. In total you need only 15 minutes to the main university at Schottentor (43) to the West-train station or the main shopping street ,,Mariahilfer-street'', the other direction of the 43 takes you also quickly to the green city border.
Groceries are directly across the street (Interspar), or 2-5 minutes by foot (Hofer, DM, Billa, Bipa) in the near area.
Around 5 minutes to the south is the Yppenplatz, a nice place with many Cafés especially in the spring/summer and the Brunnenmarkt for fresh food. In the north is the Kutschkermarkt, being another alternative to the grocery storesnearby. Furthermore, the many bars and cafés of the 9th, 8th or 7th district are very close because of the proximity to the Gürtel.
English version:
Since we all have been busy lately (exam / work-related), it's been a little quieter, but since Saara just moved in and Ege our Erasmus student is sadly gonna leave in mid-February, there is room for new input from you :)
You would be sharing the apartment with Gabriel (24), a highly motivated Physics student, who has always some funny and interesting stories to tell, Theresa (24), from the beautiful Chiemsee and who is also working a lot in a language institute, Chris (23): who came to Vienna a few Month ago for his job, Saara (25) comes from Hamburg and just recently moved to Vienna in mid-January for her first job and is eager to get to know Vienna. Ege (24), our economics Erasmus student from Istanbul is unfortunately at the end of his Vienna stay and will be moving out in mid-February.
Other than that, we of course try to keep the apartment clean and tidy, so we separate our garbage (like most I guess) with paper and general waste in the courtyard and the rest (glass, metal, plastic) right around the corner and for shared costs (cleaning stuff/toilet paper) we have a Splitwise group.
English:
Even though we have a general cleaning plan and we look to clean up after ourselves, there is additionally a cleaning lady from the house, who looks after the common rooms every 2 weeks (which is nice to have :)
Also, our dishwasher and vacuum cleaner are newly renovated and are working very smoothly. If you have a bike, it can be easily placed inside the courtyard, but if you prefer I myself have mine in the front of the door which bothers no one. Since our neighbor is a nice old/slightly deaf lady, there's no one complaining if there are more people with music ;P
If the apartment suits you, feel free to text and write a few words about yourself :)
