Hallo hallo,
ich werde im Februar einen Monat auf Reisen sein und stelle deswegen mein kleines Zimmer zur Verfügung.
Die Wohnung ist ingesamt klein aber fein. Dein Zimmer ist ebenfalls klein mit 8 Quadratmetern, dafür ist es sehr gemütlich und halt auch sehr günstig :-) Es ist ruhig zum Hof gelegen und Wien-typisch mit Fischgrätparkett ausgelegt. Die Decken sind altbautypisch höher, ca. 3-3,5 Meter, dadurch wirkt das kleine Zimmer immer luftig und nicht eng. Durch das hohe Fenster ist es immer schön hell. Es befinden sich ein sehr bequemes Bett, ein Bücherregal und eine Garderobe im Zimmer, die du alle gerne benutzen kannst und wo ich dir genügend Platz frei machen werde.
In der WG gibt es außerdem eine kleine Küche, wo man bequem zu dritt sitzen und kochen kann. Bad und WC sind getrennt, im Bad befindet sich eine Badewanne. Im Gang gibt es genug Platz für Schuhe und Krams. Ansonsten haben wir alles, was eine WG braucht, von Spülmaschine über alte Poster und Zeug, von dem niemand mehr weiß, wie es in die WG gekommen ist :-)
Wir rauchen manchmal in der Küche, in dem frei werdenden Zimmer aber nicht.

Hello hello,
I will be traveling for a month in February and therefore I am offering my small room for rent.
The apartment is small but nice. Your room is also small with 8 square meters, but it is very cozy and therefore very cheap :-) It is quietly located to the courtyard and typical for Vienna with herringbone parquet flooring. The ceilings are higher, typical for these older buildings, about 3-3.5 meters, so the small room always seems airy and not cramped. Through the high window it is always nice and bright. There is a very comfortable bed, a bookshelf and a wardrobe in the room, all of which you are welcome to use and where I will free up enough space for you.
There is also a small kitchen in the shared apartment, where you can comfortably sit and cook with three people. Bathroom and toilet are separate, there is a bathtub in the bathroom. In the hallway there is enough space for shoes and stuff. Otherwise, we have everything a WG needs, from washing machine to old posters and stuff of which no one knows anymore how it got into the WG :-)
We sometimes smoke in the kitchen, but not in the vacated room.

Die Lage ist super praktisch. In weniger als 5 Fußminuten bist du bei der Station Alser Str., wo die U6 und die 43 fahren. Auch die 44 ist sehr nahe. In 2 Minuten erreichst du einen Hofer, einen Interspar, Trafik, Bank usw. Ganz in der Nähe ist der Elterleinplatz, hier findest du dann alles weitere wie Post, Drogerie, usw.
Der Gürtel ist ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, hier findest du allerlei Bars und Cafés.
Ein echtes Higlight ist die Nähe zum Yppenplatz, mit dem Brunnenmarkt, wo es super Falafel, viele schöne Cafés und Samstags einen netten Bauernmarkt gibt.

The location is super convenient. In less than 5 minutes on foot you are at the station Alser Str., where the U6 and the 43 go. The 44 is also very close. In 2 minutes you can reach a Hofer, an Interspar, Trafik, bank etc. Nearby is the Elterleinplatz, here you will find everything else like post office, drugstore, etc.
The Gürtel is also within walking distance, here you will find all kinds of bars and cafes.
A real highlight is the proximity to Yppenplatz, with the Brunnenmarkt, where there are great falafel, many nice cafes and a nice farmer's market on Saturdays.

In der WG wohnen Bea (she/her) und Dario (he/him). Beide kommen aus Italien und haben einen PhD in Mathe, beschäftigen sich aber jetzt vermehrt mit anderen Dingen.
Bea ist 29 und widmet sich seit ihrem Abschluss ihrer Leidenschaft der Fotografie, was sie gerade an der Kubelka studiert. Nebenbei geht sie einer Lohnarbeit nach und engagiert sich bei der Partei Links.
Dario ist 31 und geht seit seinem Abschluss ebenfalls neue Wege. Er studiert im Master STS (Science, Technology, Society), engagiert sich bei Degrowth Vienna und ist auch sonst bei verschiedenen aktivistischen Gruppierungen aktiv.
Beide sind sehr freundliche, aufgeschlossene Menschen, mit denen man gut Zeit verbringen kann. Beide sprechen Italienisch, Englisch und Deutsch, wir sprechen zuhause meistens einen Mix aus allem.
Unser Zusammenleben basiert auf gewissen Werten, die wir alle teilen. Wir vertreten profeministische, antikapitalistische und antirassistische Werte. Jegliche Formen der Unterdrückung lehnen wir ab, sei es durch das Patriarchat, gegen die LGBTQIA+-Community oder durch den Kapitalismus.
Ansonsten ist unser Zusammenleben sehr entspannt, wir gehen alle unseren Tätigkeiten nach und da die Wohnung relativ klein ist, treffen wir uns häufig in der Küche, essen zusammen und gehen gerne manchmal abends aus oder zu Demos oder Ausstellungen. Wir haben einen Putzplan der gut funktioniert und übernehmen Aufgaben in der WG zu gleichen Teilen. In der Küche darf geraucht werden, hier nehmen wir aber auch Rücksicht aufeinander.

In the shared flat live Bea (she/her) and Dario (he/him). Both come from Italy and have a PhD in math, but are now more involved with other things.
Bea is 29 and since her graduation she has dedicated herself to her passion for photography, which she is currently studying at Kubelka. On the side, she does wage work and is involved with the Left Party.
Dario is 31 and since his graduation he is also going new ways. He is studying STS (Science, Technology, Society), is involved in Degrowth Vienna and is also active in various other activist groups.
Both are very friendly, open-minded people with whom it is easy to spend time. Both speak Italian, English and German, we usually speak a mix of everything at home.
Our life together is based on certain values that we all share. We hold profeminist, anti-capitalist and anti-racist values. We reject all forms of oppression, be it by patriarchy, against the LGBTQIA+ community or by capitalism.
Otherwise, our life together is very relaxed, we all go about our activities and since the apartment is relatively small, we often meet in the kitchen, eat together and like to go out sometimes in the evening or to demos or exhibitions. We have a cleaning schedule that works well and we share tasks in the WG equally. Smoking is allowed in the kitchen, but we are considerate of each other.

Wenn du Interesse hast, schreib uns gerne ein paar Zeilen zu dir, was du in Wien machen möchtest usw. Du musst nicht deutsch sprechen, Englisch oder Italienisch passen genauso gut. Das Zimmer ist ab dem 01.02. und dann den ganzen Februar frei, ich komme aber erst am 04.03. wieder, du kannst also auch ein paar Tage länger bleiben. If you are interested, feel free to write us a few lines about yourself, what you would like to do in Vienna, etc. You don't have to speak German - English or Italian will fit just as well. The room is free from 01.02. and then the whole of February, but I will be back on 04.03., so you can also stay a few days longer if you want. The rent of 215,- includes all costs.
